Its history, so lots of reading is required, which being in college we all should do. The class was very boring, but he gives you extra credit for showing up. Quizzes on each chapter, exams are not very difficult if you prepare for it.

Show up, and watch movies for extra credit. If you study the material (which he gives you,) it's an easy easy A. I ended up with a 106% in the class. History is history so it's hard to cruise by without studying a bit. Lectures are right out of the book so if yo skip class it's no big deal. Would take again.

Very easy class, I failed my first test and still got an A- in the class. Quizlet is the best study guide for this class. Never showed up to class only during movie days which are extra credit and test. He offers a lot of extra credit with the movies. Gives you study guides but like I said Quizlet will help with that.

This class was pretty much a joke. I had him once a week and did not show up most of the time. The only time you should go to class are movie days because he gives EXC and has movie quizzes. Study his sample tests in the course reader you buy and use quizlet and you will get an A. He is an extremely boring teacher that uses no visual aid.

His lectures are super boring and it's hard to pay attention because he talks in circles. You don't really need to go to class but you get attendance points which really help your grade. Go to the movie days because the quizzes help a lot! Quizlet is basically your best friend when studying for the tests.

Easy A but boring. This class is a joke. After the first quiz I realized I never had to come to class. All Wayne does is talk to the ceiling and read exactly what the course reader says. He has extra credit movies which are boring but help your grade a lot. Just know when the 3 test days are and do the practice tests and you'll be fine.

OK.. soooo... take the class, only go to class when u know he is taking attendance (movie days), don't bother trying to decipher his notes, google the practice exam questions to find the quizlets with ALL the exam questions. got an A- and never really went

Quizlet is honestly your best friend in this class. The lectures are pretty boring and hard to follow. Your best bet would be to review notes on your own. Literally memorize the vocabulary words and sample tests. I went from a D- to a B+ by just acing the final exam. EC for movies days and movie quizzes. Easy class if u just put effort

One of the best professors I've had at state. His lectures can be boring with bits of dry humor, but his tests are straight forward and easy. Skim books for names for quizzes. He's extremely knowledgeable and his grading system makes it hard to get anything lower than a B.

Boring class!!!The best part was the movies, but ehh you can sign in and leave. Just look up the study guides and make sure you study the practice test. Some of the answers are the same as the actual test.

HORRIBLE CLASS! Teacher is so monotone. Impossible to keep up. The class reader is a joke and doesn't give you any information at all. Get extra credit for movie days. Not enough to save your grade. TAKE ANY OTHER HISTORY CLASS I PROMISE YOULL DO BETTER

people said this was going to be an easy A, WRONG! constant mumbling voice, couldn't understand what he was talking about. I didn't learn anything from the lectures and there was no textbook to follow along with. Only take this class if you have a natural understanding of history. Also, no more easy participation points like before. Beware!

AWFUL teacher. He talks really fast and slurs his words, so you have no idea what he is saying most of the time. Really mean too, asked him a question and he made me cry. If you are willing to teach yourself, memorize the practice tests, and go to class to get attendance points then the class is an easy A...

This is a History class, and a lot of people don't like history, including myself. Your grade is based purely on three midterms. You only use a student packet, and there are sample midterms you can study off of since the real midterm look almost similar, with a few different questions. Attend screenings and take the quizzes for extra credit. Easy A

this man needs to retire;hes depressed about SDSU's budget, thus his negative attitude when you talk to him outside of class. doesnt TEACH history, but RECITES it like a timeline since the renaissance. his tests are sort of easy since you get to pick n choose which questions to answer. attendance is mandatory for the lil points needed for the A

Classes are typically him lecturing for ~an hour from notes on the student packet, with a class every now and then with a simple reading quiz on assigned books. Extra credit for attendance, and (what I think) are really well structured tests that are easy to do well on with some studying. Lectures can be boring, but at times funny.

Lifeless & a drag to attend but it is an easy A. Don't buy any of the required readings, only thing that is important to get is the reading packet. I rented the reading materials & never read a page of it. Failed all the quizzes, but Aced all the exams. Extra credit for attendance. Never knew what the topic was during class but still got an A.
