If you happen to miss class he records all his classes. He takes time to have a Q&A on Saturdays. I got to say the homework can be a lot BUT he gives you time to do it. Plus everything that he teaches you IS on the quizzes and exams. Oh and his youtube videos are super helpful. Make sure if you take be prepared for the homework.

Great Professor. He taught us to use excel and replaces the lowest grade with your final grade. I recommend studying hard for the final because it can save you! I messed up by doing the most on previous exams and not spending nearly as much time on the final. Hes really great at what he does and understands the struggle!

Professor Badalian was one of the best professors I've had. He was thorough with the material, wrote the entire curriculum himself and uploaded it as lectures on youtube, no one had to spend money on a textbook. He made stats really easy to learn, was responsive to students questions, and passionate about the subject matter. I highly recommend him.

Prof Badalian is a god. I took this class in the winter and he just makes it so easy. You'll learn so much, and not just differential equations. His lectures are neat and to the point. There were only 2 tests and HWs. Prof and the TA were very chill. I wish he would teach all the math class in the world.

He's blunt, moody but means well. Generous w/ grading, lenient w/ HW (doesn't care if you got it right, only that you tried). Explanations/PPs are clear, BUT I HIGHLY recommend the txtbook (use yandex to find the pdf free) to supplement. Exams mite offer more than can be finished on time, but he curves after. Practice and time yourself. Good luck.

He is so awesome! He tells you what the grading rubric is, however if youre not familiar with Excel or cannot be tech savvy and learn this isnt the class for you. But wow his teaching method and videos just flow all nicely and he does weekly meetings for any questions. I would take another math class with him. Also no text book required

It's shocking to see all these bad reviews. He really cares about his students passing. Breaks everything down for you to understand the material. And on top of that he gives you the answers for the homework, you just have to make sure it matches the answers you got on your own. How difficult can that be? Just show up that's the most important

I heard that he a bad professor who teaches statistics. Dont take his class if you dont want to. Also he said zoom meeting is optional but later he changed into mandatory and drop you out. Also you have to teach yourself bc he wont do anything. This is why I do not want him as my professor.

Not as bad as most of the reviews make him out too be. Maybe he's turned over a new leaf. Competent lecturer, has a very lenient grade distribution, and has some helpful youtube videos. For a 5 week ODE course, he did a good job keeping everything afloat. If you are willing to put in the work, you should pass.

He can be very moody a lot of the times, can become emotional for no reason. He doesn't teach the required materials at all. Most of the times, you have to self-study the whole course on your own or go to tutoring and ask someone for help. Very irresponsible and careless. Has rude and bad attitude for teaching. I wouldn't take him again, never.

He was a really good teacher, made class interesting and funny. However he moves kind of fast when teaching and it's easy to get confused. He explains it in a way that makes it easier, but if you aren't working yourself at home for hours you won't do good. You basically have to teach a lot of it to yourself so that part sucks.

Took stats with this professor. He teaches the material thoroughly, and uses several teaching methods. He is, however, somewhat of a monster. If you get a question wrong, he will make fun of you extensively. One time I watched the clock while he mocked a student, and it was ten minutes of a fifty minute class.

This professor doesn't know what he's doing. I dont think he is capable of teaching calculus. Due to his instincts a lot of students have dropped the class. The semester started with 50 students then throughout mid semester there were a only 8 left. I do not recommend him for calculus.

I took his class in spring and overall the class is very easy. If you do not apply yourself or study you will not pass. He makes it very easy for his students to pass his class. In fact he hands you literally all the answers to the homework questions and steps on how to do them. Only reason you wont pass his class is because you literally gave up.

You have to teach yourself everything otherwise you will not survive in this class, many people failed/dropped out. He does not care about this subject he said it himself. He does not teach in class but sometimes he'll try. Get someone else for this subject if you are bad at math. Hw is easy and tests are alright(at least they're short). Good luck!
