His teaching style really backfired on me. I did not learn well with him just zooming through the lecture notes and randomly pausing to do some calculations. Everything conceptual is up to you to self study but he does go through calculation problems. Tests are hard but he does offer EC you have to be present to get the points. I DO NOT recommend

I have had teachers with accents before but the way he speaks is particularly aggravating. He says phrases such as, "are you with me my dear" "my lovely children, are you with me" "are you with me my sweetie" "my lovely friends, are you with me sweetie". Every 2 minutes! Very frustrating to listen to him speak. Skipped class because of this reason.

TAKE MUMMERY. retook econ 315 with mummery and learned more in ONE day than i did in the whole semester with morteza. even if mummery is a night class TAKE HIM dont take morteza.

Funny guy who gives out 5% of extra credit if you show up to all the lectures and do the in-class assignments. Tests were fairly easy because he does a good job of saying what is on each exam for study guides (MC, long answers). Make sure to understand the slides. He made Econ 315 enjoyable and I would take him again if he was doing another class.

Morteza might be funny, but that doesn't make him a great professor. Everyday is a lecture. Gives random extra credit so show up to class for that. Class consists of two exams, online homework, and a mandatory final. He is very vague on what to study for and rushes through all his lectures. Make sure you pay attention and attend SI if needed.

To start he is really funny; however, his exams are very difficult and you really have to know everything. Class consist of 3 exams, HW/Learn Smarts, and extra credit. The extra credit gives final grades a 5% increase if you get all of them. Econ 315 is not an easy class, but he does everything he can to help pass you. Classes are just lecture.

Great choice for econ! He breaks down concepts so its easier to understand. Online homework, LOTS of extra credit so show up to class. Tests were tough, especially the first one, but hw and ec pull your grade up. Easy class to pass. There's SI and TA's available to help.

TONS of EC opportunity! You get free points by just showing up to class- so do it because it raised my grade by 5%. Tests and material are pretty hard. You will have to work for your grade in this class. NO + or -, just solid letter grades. I calculated the final grade distribution for my class and 81% of students passed. He rounds up too!

I attended every single lecture and the class was still hard. Seriously, take detailed notes and listen to the examples he give in class bc they will appear on the exams. Econ isn't something you can just memorize. You gotta practice the math and understand when to use the proper formulas. Also, there is SI! use it if you don't get it.

Take his class for Econ 315! Three Exams (80Pts each) , Final (Optional), Homework (60Pts), Extra credit in class quizzes (up to 15Pts). His exams are based on at least 20 Mc and 3-4 written responses. Attend his class every time , jot down everything he writes, do the "Must Do Problems" and you'll pass his class. Also he's super funny :)

Lectures were always funny. Teaches in a large lecture hall. All you need to do is just pay attention, write everything down, practice his Titanium hw and Must do problems, and you will pass. Has 3 exams and an optional conceptual final. (Only take the final if you did really poor on previous exams). Conceptual Qs on exams were tricky.

Follow what I say and you should pass. He offers a lot of extra credit and by the end of the semester he offered more and curved hard. Attend his class, take down everything he says. Read the book and understand every concept he mentioned in class. Do the must do problems, because they appear on the exam. Attending SI is optional but recommended.

If he thought more econ courses I would major in econ. He is very funny and gives real examples of theory. I suggest attending SI and form your own study group. Material becomes more understanding with peers teaching it. Do the must do and actually understand the theory. They may not ask any of the must do questions on exam so know theory!

Hands down my favorite professor. Take him! Always enjoyed going to class since he was so funny and explained the material so well. The exams were tough but as long as you understand the lectures and practice the online problems you should be fine. Come to class daily, the extra credit will help lots. Would take him again 100+%!

The FUNNIEST professor at CSUF. He is a real gem. From someone who hates Econ I can say I actually enjoyed this class. He really knows his stuff and teaches in a way that makes it easy to understand. I attended SI sessions periodically and it does help. He offers EC and it helped me a lot, plus I learned from it. Must attend class for EC though.

I love attending his class! He is so funny & gives great lectures. He gives real-life examples that are worth listening to. Also, attend class becuz the examples he use in his lectures will help you understand the graphs on the test. No textbook and homework. He posted problem sets for you to practice which will definitely help on the test.
