The class isn't hard but she doesn't do a great job explaining things. She gets herself confused. I took this class through Zoom and she will wait until someone answers her question rather than moving on. She also gets behind in her timeline so I would not recommend writing due dates in your planner for more than 2 modules at a time.

One of the better teachers that I have had in Perdue! Shields really cares about her students and wants to see them all do well! She is so helpful when you have a question or issue in SAP. She can be a little disorganized at times when it comes to grading. Definitely a good starter class through for the TERP 10 program.

She cares so much about her students and is a great teacher but the topic can get very boring after a full year of learning the same thing. The workload of this class became a lot when she added exams to the already busy schedule. Its not hard to get an A or B if you do your work and understand the material.

If you're an information systems major the SAP term 10 program is an amazing opportunity. This class was not difficult if you put in the work and understand the material. The only class I've taken thus far that explain the functions of business outside of just one particular department. Great teacher who is always willing to help.

One of the best teachers I have worked with - yes, her class is hard but as long as you put in the work, you will be fine. She really has a passion for the subject and was one of the best teachers I have had. I can't wait to take 471 with her in the fall!

I took this class this past semester. I thought that it was hard but if you work at it you will get the grade that you deserve. You can go to her anytime and she will help you. She was one of the best teachers I had at Salisbury. Just stay on top of you work and you will be fine.

Great teacher! Explains the material well. The work is not as bad as people make it out to be. I would compare it to the busy work in high school. Its not hard just a lot. Make sure you do all assignment because HW, projects, and reading quizes are worth 50% of your grade.

Absolute mandatory attendance, book use and homework. Quizzes HW and other tedious useless tasks in addition to her dreadful attempt to get class involvement. Out of class absolutely consumes your semester studying, preparing, and attempting to complete tons of tasks which are minimal to your grade then all add up to hurt your grade if everything

I recommend NOT taking her. All the previous comments about her being a bad professor are true. It is not an easy A, B, or even C. The work load is ridiculous. The tests are impossible. The assignments are not clear. You can work hard in her class and end up with a C. This class WILL consume your life!

Whoa. The most work I have ever gotten for a class. She will assign work that is due the same day as an exam. HW is worth like %25 of your grade so do all of it. Also the homework really helps with exams.

have also had for 326 and will have for 470. She knows what she's talking about, seems harsh but really just wants students to participate and learn. All assignments, although sometimes quite plentiful, really do help in the long run. Very valuable professor!

you can be as nice to her as you want and she will screw your grade up just for the fun of it. Something is due every class and good luck trying to get it right. I had friends that passed with an A and did little work while I put about 10 hours a week into her class and she gave me a low C!!!

A lot of work, but if you do it, the class is much easier. yea she grades kind of hard, but come on, its college. she lays out the notes for you, and you just have to go through and fill them in. shes in her office almost every morning and checks her email up until 10 oclock at night. just do the work, its not that bad

I did not like this class at all!She is terrible, the last person who wrote a comment must be her, because all the students who took her last semester hated her. even if they managed to put all the hours in for the work. She is just a bad teacher. My roomates took another Info 326 teacher and Aces it with no prob, i was struggling to keep a B.
