Zahra was a pretty awesome teacher. Though this class was online and I had little interaction with her, she kept us informed of due dates, quiz's and such. Also, would answer our questions fairly quickly if we had any. This class is a lot of work, labs, videos and quiz's and tests but if you stay up to date, you'll be fine.

I took her class during the summer semester. I decided to take the 4 week online class, which condensed 16 weeks worth of material. She is extremely knowledgeable and gives great feedback. Even though it was an accelerated course, I still felt like I learned quite a bit about the basics of Computer Science.

She is very knowledgeable and organized. Her lectures actually make sense! She is always ready to help and answer the questions. I took her Linux class - lecture and Networking class - online. Both of them were very fun, informative and easy to understand. I think shes just a great teacher!

Very fair, and knowledgeable. Only thing that could be better was posting assignments that were going to be due at the end of the week, at a consistent time at the beginning of the week.

If you're not totally crazy about computers and everything there is to know about computers I would suggest not taking this class as it is incredibly boring and long. Everything is done on a 3rd party website for homework and exams and they are so easy because you can go back and see what you missed and you can go back again to do the right answer.

She is a real smart cookie and I love her! Very helpful, however she does talk very fast a trait of super smart people ha-ha. But easy on grading and being late! All she cares about is that you understand the material and she does a VERY good job at making sure of that! She is also very fair on grading.

This was my first hardware class that I've taken, and learned so much so fast! It was fun and great filled with labs on Lab Sim Test Out and in class group activities. Make sure you do your online work, and it's generally easy!

This is the most frustrating class I've taken thus far in college. Please know that during this semester the teacher has completely changed the requirements for week-long assignments less than two days before they are due on multiple occasions. Fortunately, she is good at making online announcements and responding to emails quickly.

The CSIS 1121 A+ Essentials online class at SLCC taught by Zahra is basically an exercise in self-discipline using the Labsim Testout website. For those considering this course, it does not include vouchers to take the actual A+ exams but the course itself will prepare you to pass both (each is $189). You're basically on your own. Easy A.

she is an amazing, wonderful teacher. I am glad I took her course. It was nice to learn a lot of things I never knew. I had a hard time with excel formulas but other than that the class was pretty easy. This teacher is also kind and is very understanding that anything can happen in life, with that being said she was willing to except late work.

Professor Atashi is wonderful. She works with you regarding late assignments and tests. Her accent is beautiful and easy to understand. If you can't understand her you should travel more. Overall she helped a lot and the class was very easy to understand and follow along. Labsim is great and will forever have it. Will take more of her classes!.

Students that take this class with Mrs. Atashi have no excuse not to pass, because she will help you as much as the students help themselves. If you don't practice you will have a hard time, but if you truly care about Mrs. Atashi class she will help you during office hours. Also Jared in the Computer lab is great for extra help. Practice!!!!

I attended Linux Administration 1 with her and that was a really great experience. I learned a lot not just from the book but she also sharpened my curiosity in several other aspects of Linux. She is a true Linux Guru in fact. I would recommend her to any student that is seriously interested in learning. Ms Atashi is really awesome !

I was able to attend two of her classes and the experience was great. I really learned a lot with Ms. Atashi. She was very attentive and always went the extra mile to make sure we all understood what she was conveying in her lectures and mostly the related labs. I refused to miss her class even when I was sick. She is a really great Professor.

Comment:
Her English skills were very poor, and it distracted heavily on the learning experience. Oftentimes, it was impossible to ask her questions regarding assignments because she simply could not understand what you were asking. Because of this, I often relied on the online assignments to teach me the material. Not a fun class.
