What an amazing woman! Dr. Luskay is one of the best professors I've ever had at Pace! Yes, you work very hard for your grades, but I loved her class so much, that it didn't feel like homework I was doing. Not only does she engage you in the subject, but also in your own work, too. I'm so happy I took this class with her, it's a must have!

For everyone who says that Maria Luskay is a hard grader - sucks to suck - this is a professor who wants quality, which shouldn't be so hard considering we're in college now. Furthermore, she speaks to students like we're in a chill environment, not like we're "at a bar and someone tried to make a pass at her". Get over yourselves. She's the best.

Although this professor is knowledgeable about the field she forgets that you the student are not. If you are taking this class online there is no examples of what she expects from you and has you rely on the textbook as a fill in for a professor. If you have everything else right but lack in the way you format she takes 10 points from your grade

Luskay is helpful and knowledgable of every aspect of the media and production field. She helps prepare her students for the real world and wants to make sure her students have been prepped as much as they can be after their 4 years at Pace. Love her. She's incredible and I've enjoyed every moment of class I've had with her.

When you take a course with Dr. Luskay you?re in for a life-changing ride. Each one of her courses was inspirational, and in many ways she opened up a new intellectual world for me. Just read the previous comment. It?s ridiculous and vicious! I know the slacker who wrote it. Dr. Luskay is amazing and will leave a positive impression on me for life

This professor is ridiculous! she speaks to students like she's talking to someone in a bar who just tried to make a pass at her. She is rude, and although knowledgable of her subject, she will make you want to slap her by the end of the course. Only take her if you plan to stay very far away from her!

Professor Luskay is not a good teacher. She may be knowledgeable on the topics she teaches, but has no clue how to convey her thoughts properly to students so THEY can easily understand.. A professor is supposed to help and better their students not be rude and "have her favorites" Thats poor ethics at best.I don't see how she hasn't been fired yet

If you don't take Luskay, you are missing out on a valuable learning experience. Everything she says, everything she does is a life lesson whether you believe it or not. The "harsh" comments are psychological tests. She's testing you to see if you can handle the industry. She's not here to baby you, she's here to prepare you for the real world.

Luskay is awesome!! She is so much fun and i have learned a lot from her. She doesn't take BS but at the same time she is very understanding. I absolutely love taking her. She has her favorites, i unfortunately am not one of them but i still like her anyways. What she has taught me will def. help with my career in the future!

I signed up for six classes with Prof. Luskay while at Pace from 1994-1998. I am still in touch with her and really consider her the best teacher that I had during my college years. She is a no BS person, and I consider that a very good thing. Highly recommend.

As a person she is REALLY nice. Fun and loving but with spunk. As a professor...? She picks her favorites based on ? reasons. Once you r on her good side it is smooth sailing but if she you don't become best friends then it is over. She talks mad @hit about other students behind their backs. I did really well with her but others did not.
