Professor Morgan was very good about responding to emails and questions that i asked. She tends to put a lot of info out at once and it could get really confusing. I felt like i was emailing her for clarification. There are a lot of tedious pointless assignments. But overall she is very nice, she just gives out a lot of work and I am left stressed

Lauren Morgan is over all a very cool person. Getting to talk with her and getting voiced feedback is great. A lot of her typed feedback is difficult to figure out. It's disorganized. She will write out too many instructions for a simple task, or give a ton of critiquing feedback on something you got a good grade on. Great person, confusing teacher

Speaks in abstract a bit too much. Her assignments and general coursework are also very unorganized. Without seeing her in class you will struggle since assignments and their corresponding due dates will spring from nowhere with little mention in class. A little too friendly & this leads to going off topic. Not an easy class to learn or do well in.

She was really nice and easy to talk to but was way too picky. She's in charge of the speech team at the school so she expects way too much. She constantly will talk about herself and go off topic. She's Unorganized and will fail you if you miss more than 3 classes.

Easy class with minimal homework. My public speaking has improved tremendously. She loves to talk and offers helpful feedback. Definitely cares about her students. My only complaint is that she can be pretty disorganized, which I feel nearly compromised my grade. If you can handle that, take the class and watch your communication skills skyrocket.

4/5 because you had to dig deep to find the homework online. She also grades kinda tough. As a person she was great and helpful. Gave great feedback and advice. I learned a lot in that class. I had a speech in my english class the next semester and I used the methods of a presentation she taught to the class and got an A on the presentation.

This class may involve a Civic Engagement Project alongside the speeches you will have to prep for but it will aid in your understanding of what communications really means. Your voice means something and Professor Morgan WILL indeed help you accomplish your speech. She is intelligent and caring. Get to know her! She is also a great speech coach!

This class was a "learning community" with a career class. I wish I didn't take it, the homework is tedious and I did well regardless of not doing it. She for sure cares but after an hour of her and the other teacher talking, you will look at the clock and pray for it to end. Every time i didn't go to class, was a good day.

Honestly, listen to the negative reviews. She definitely loves her job, but she's beyond disorganized. I dropped the class after day 3. It feels like your "honors" speech class is actually remedial. She also had the idea to combine with a totally different class to restrict our speeches. Nice person, bad teacher. Don't waste time with her.

Don't listen to all the bad reviews!!! They're probably from people who don't do their work on time. Lauren is super nice. Just ask qs if you need help with the writing process and practice your speeches beforehand. Easy A

she's a nice woman but incredibly unorganized. The class has no structure/everything is rushed. I wouldn't say she's the worst professor I've had, but she's also not the best. Sometimes she'll say one thing then do another. She's passionate about her job but, she cares about speech team more than her students in class. I like her as a person tho!

One of the worst teachers I've ever had, she doesn't teach the material and has no grading rubric. Also im pretty sure she has no plan for each class, just makes up things as she goes on. Not sure how she leads the speech team.

I used this website to choose lauren as my speech teacher because of her good rating. I shouldve read a little more carefully when doing so because her negative reviews and characteristics outweigh the positives. She neglects students, is unorganized, and you have to constantly repeat yourself with her.

Lauren doesnt know how to work the textbook or blackboard so youre left figuring out most things on your own. I sent her multiple emails letting her know my grades were not in blackboard and she did not respond to any of them. She barely teaches speech and just talks about useless material the whole time. This class is a waste of time.

She talks too much and gets off topic often. This class is a waste of time with her she spends two hours talking about useless things that have nothing to do with speech. One of the most unorganized individuals ive ever met and she doesnt respond to any emails.

Speech is an easy class youll get an A if you show up basically but Lauren isnt the most organized and makes things more complicated than they need to be. She constantly changes the schedule and due dates and missed more classes than I did.

Ok so first off this teacher thinks she knows everything she acts like joco isnt important and treats us like babies I have never felt this way before. I have never rated a teacher on here but that 4.5 rating is everything but the truth. She was unorganized and didnt grade anything until the end of semester. Dont take her you will regret it I do
