Bonaffini is the man !!!! Best professor out there. Weekly discussion boards that must be a few paragraphs, midterm and final. Have to put in a little work but the man loves his Italian literature.

Professor BONAFANI is the BEST !!!! His class is literally a weekly discussion, midterm and final. His midterm and final is two questions that you have to write about. The discussions should be a few paragraphs but it's such an easy A.

Very knowledgeable Professor. It was a boring class mainly because I wasn't interested in the subject. Really makes you work hard for your grade. Tons of reading in which you have to submit a really detailed response.

Very clear cut online class with minimal workload. Discussion board due every week except a few times, you will be reading old Italian literature. Midterm is done at home, basically just a discussion board but longer. Final supposedly in person. To do well dont disrespect the guy by writing 5 sentences, make them at least 800 words you lazy bum

Very long readings every week and discussion board questions. The responses have to be very detailed and in depth to receive an A on them. The midterm and final were not that challenging. Overall good class, but Professor Bonaffini is a tough grader

Professor Luigi was a delight to have. I took this course online and as long as you kept up with the deadlines and assignments, which were crystal clear, you were good to go. You can easily get an A if you do what is expected of you. Expect to read and write.

Lots and lots of reading but you have a week to read each assignment. Most of the readings are very interesting. Very tough grader, it's an easy class if you do the reading and turn in the homework. I don't know about an easy A but totally an easy B

The class is pretty clear. It is full of homework, but what you expect from on-line class. You will have to watch movies as well. Overall, the class is nice and doable. I am not sure about grading criteria, but nothing scary.

This was a pure online Winter Session class and was a primer in Italian literature. Dante, Boccaccio, Machiavelli, Manzoni, Levi etc. You are expected to read and analyze. Grading was tough but fair and you had to have coherent relevant contributions via Blackboard. Midterm was also Online and Final in class and totally by memory.

This course was about contemporary Italy. The prof gave clear instructions and ran the course well. He's not an easy grader; you have to read the book to do well. Midterm was open book; final was in class. Every week we answered a question on discussion board which required us to read a chapter and watch a movie (sometimes). I'd recommend him.

Before I begin my rant, he IS a NICE guy. BUT he rushes through each chapter, so it's hard to grasp everything for those who aren't good w/Italian. He quizes every other week & contrary to what others say, the quizes only stress you out, not help you learn.
