DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. We are in a pandemic so online classes are difficult enough, and she just makes it even harder. Some of the lectures are interesting, but she talks the whole time with barely any notes, so you really gotta listen. She grades SO HARSH. We had multiple opinion questions and she took points off of those, even if you back it up.

Very lovely woman who knows her material and offers interesting lectures. But, do not let that lull you into thinking she is fair. Assigns work that is not graded until last day of class, if at all. Then grades with the harshest possible stroke. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HER unless you are prepared to suffer and FAIL. She will outsmart you.

Super unorganized. Unclear on what would be on the tests even when asked specific questions. The lecture content was pretty boring (not her fault just a boring class). She had a lot of small assignments like write ups and quizzes. She was nice about curving the final if you didn't do well in the mid term.

Definitely a class that you must be interested in to do well in. I loved it & sometimes the lectures flew by! She's a very tough grader which was stressful & quizzes/ exams are packed with information, but if you take notes in class & attend regularly, you will have all of the information. Overall, a sweet lady who's passionate about her job!

I thought this course would be very interesting, little did I know I would need to wake up at 7:30 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday to listen to this woman go off on tangents, not prepare me at all for any type of exam, and put the smallest amount of effort into the course. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS if you want to seemingly fail from 3 grades at most.

I fully regret taking this class. The tests and quizzes are all short answer and are packed with a lot of material. Whatever you do don't take this class, unless you want to ruin your GPA.

Extremely harsh grader. She uses the textbook that she does because she knows the author of it, otherwise, it barely pertains to anything on her exams or quizzes. I have a B- when I should have easily gotten at least an B+. She is a VERY hard grader.

I came out of an exam thinking I got a 100% on it. When we got it back, turns out i got an 80%. I definitely deserved a 100% but she is a really annoyingly hard grader. If you miss the word "the" she takes off 10 points. All tests are written, no multiple choice. Pay attention in class. Read chapter summaries!!!!!!

The professor never uploads her slides onto Sakai and doesn't even post your grades up online. Each quiz and exam is packed with too much material to memorize, and the lectures are long and boring.

She is a tough, intimidating professor, but you will learn a LOT from her class. She expects you to grasp concepts and be able to link them to each other. This class had three novels in place of a textbook, plus handouts and videos/slides. All of it is fair game for the tests. Excellent class; take her if you want to learn!

Anth367,Anthropology of Childhood is a pretty basic class. All we had was a midterm, and then our final was a research paper which was easy. We read books throughout the semester and she just went through power-points usually. The class was fun and interesting and the test was very straight forward. Overall it was a great class!

You must be interested in the material to take this class; the majority of the learning takes places after class. You need to be in the lab a lot (think 8hrs+ per week) I learned so much and she is always there to help. I have never once been turned away from her office. Weekly quizzes keep you working and tests are long but extremely fair.

I took three classes with Dr Rosenberg and she was one of my best college professors of all times. She was the first teacher in my life that helped me appreciate the study of science, and made it fun. I learned a great deal from her. She is tough, but extremely fair.

I really did not enjoy the class. I feel like she used the same powerpoints for every lecture. All the slides were of fossils which you cannot take notes on. The she expects you to do well on very long tests. The readings were so dry.

This class is lots of work, but then it is a grad-level class and it's 4 credits. You really have to study to do well, but being in groups helps a LOT. Spend time in the lab!!! Prof is a sweet lady, seems intimidating at first but really loves her students and the subject. I got a better grade than I thought.

Comes off as intimidating but isn't once you get to know her. Study study study!!! You will not do well if you slack off, and she will not let you slide. But as a person (and Chairperson) she is quite adept and helpful. She knows what she's talking about.
