Comment:
His classes are far more enjoyable in person IMO - asynchronous he's not very consistent. His lectures are great - he does tend to repeat himself at times but I found it helpful because the more something was repeated the more important it was for assessments. Definitely would recommend if you don't mind waiting a bit (or a lot) for feedback.

He was very slow is uploading material and grading papers. This was because he was teaching too many courses at once, which he told us. He also gave extensions every time he was late uploading or grading. He is clearly a very smart guy who knows the material he is teaching. If you're like me and took it as an elective, you will learn a lot.

He makes the content feel very lively, despite the topic being as droll as meta-ethics, you won't be bored. He prepares good notes for his lectures and is just an all around exceptional professor.

I have written the final and still only know 12.5% of my final grade because the last and only grade I received was from September. This is by far my worst experience and no, I do not recommend him. I think this class would have actually been interesting but this prof has made it miserable.

Horribly Organized. Has posted content during the exam period and failed to grade things from 2 months ago. His lectures are not bad but they are only released days before the exam.

One of the most scattered professors I've ever had; his online notes were more cluttered than his lectures, and with the way he bolds absolutely EVERYTHING makes it impossible to tell what is actually important. He seems like an interesting guy who knows his stuff, just the way he words all his material (quizzes too) is ridiculously confusing.

This class was blended online and in person. I went to the first class and realized that he was lecturing the same things that were online, so I never went to class again. I can't say much about this prof since I didn't go to lecture, but the online lectures were dense and boring reads. Super easy course to fulfill category B requirement.

Great prof! Very clear with his grading, he tells you exactly what he wants to see in your essays. He's hilarious and obviously quite passionate about his subject. My only complaint is that he takes a while to hand essays back and check emails.

Great guy, really passionate about what he's teaching. Can be a little slow with handing back stuff, but provides ample feedback. Also a somewhat generous essay marker

I never ended up going to Philosophy of Death with Prof. Robb, but despite this ended up doing quite well in the course. The evaluation was two exams, a final and midterm, and two essays worth 25% each. He tells you exactly what he wants from the essays and exams, making it possible to succeed in the course without over-studying or going to class

Professor Robb assigned two papers 730-1000 words (concise, yet easily manageable). He understands that undergrads tend to not be the greatest writers, and provided one midterm as well for us to try and bump our grade if papers weren't our expertise. He's approachable, sarcastically hilarious, well spoken for , and sharp witted.

Had him for a summer course. Always handed back assignments late, days after he promised to return them. Slow to reply to emails (usually 3 days). Basically he was not prepared for this course and would post things and give back assignments 3-10 days late from when he said he would return them. Very disappointed with him.

Great prof, very entertaining and engaging, makes material that would otherwise be deathly boring, interesting. His expectations are straightforward and extremely clear with regards to essays and exams. Always available for office hours and provides helpful guidance. I took this ethics course as an elective but I never expected to actually enjoy it
