Sweet, and very intelligent elderly man. Professor Moore is very passionate about what he teaches, and makes class very interesting. Be ready to read a lot, he asks' a lot of questions on the readings during lecture. The exam's are all short answers, and he's a very tough grader, if you don't word the answer his way he takes points off.

The whole class consists of presentations and group projects. After every presentation you have to write a two page paper, that is usually pretty easy. Professor Moore is nice and really passionate about the subject. The class is easy to pass as long as you show up and take notes. No textbook is needed!

Took him for Intro to Amer. Civilization. He has a different way of teaching but still insightful. Everyone is assigned to a grouptopic&must create powerpoint on it&present to class. At the end of each group presentation a 2 pg paper is assigned (easy). Would not recommend if you dislike public speaking. Overall, easy&great class. I learned a lot.

This course, Sport in History, proved to be one of the most difficult classes I have taken in college, but boy was it also by far the most interesting! Dr. Moore is a nice, sensitive man, who knows a great deal about the material. 6 surprise quizzes, class participation, and a final exam made up the final grade. Trust me, this is a difficult class!

Professor Moore is wonderful. He teaches straight out of the book with no surprises. You should absolutely do the readings because you need to in order to pass the tests and also to participate in class. Very fair grader, and will not hassle you ever. Excellent professor, I only wish he taught more courses in at Montclair. Highly recommended.

TAKE HIS CLASS. The classes are so good. He plays music before every class and he is extremely smart. There are surprise quizes ever one and a while (like once a month or so) and you go through a decade every class. Allows you to see from all side of an issue. You need the books but you go over everything in class. Like NJ a lot.

Class is not hard, but also not what you will expect. If your expecting a class where you discuess last night's games you are sadly mistaken. It is a HISTORY class, which at times can be boring. Not overly difficult, but you must do the reading and attend the class regularly to do well.

In four years, I got to know Dr. Moore very well and was lucky enough to have him as a professor. His classroom is very structured. He gives a lot of work, but explains the information in depth. I'm a history major so i appreciated his teaching style, others it might not be for them. I to along with him and could go to him for anything related to school. He always pushed me beyond my limits and for this I will never, ever forget him. It was a honor to shake his hand at commencement and he will be missed

This class was great. He didn't surprise you with anything, he was upfront about how he graded and how you can get good grades, and he was almost begging to help anyone who had problems.
