Comment:
Professor Sani assigns a lot of homework but they are not mandatory. They are more for practice. You don't even have to attend his class in order to pass. All you have to do is study the PDF midterm review which is exactly like the exam. The reason I got a C was because of the final exam. HIS GRADING IS BASED ON EXAMS SO BE AWARE OF THAT.

Sani's class is tough. Your grade is solely based on 3 exams (33% each) and thats it. His exams are not only hard but also often have questions that were not taught in class. His explanations are terrible, he is inconsiderate, and often makes mistakes with problems/test grades but will not acknowledge them. Buy the textbook or book pdf ! Good luck

I took this class two semesters ago but when I did we got a textbook and he said getting a Pearson access code wasn't necessary. GET THE ONLINE ACCESS CODE WITH THE STUDY MATERIALS IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. That would've saved my life if I knew his class was going to be like that. Powerpoint lectures in a boring voice. Grade only based on 2 tests!

This professor shows no enthusiasm towards the course. It's very difficult to pay attention because his voice is boring. Don't take him if you don't have to because you'll have to put in a lot of time to teach yourself

This is a very boring class. He doesn't seem happy to be there. Paying attention is hard in this class. His first 2 exams are relatively easy but his last exam was pretty difficult. I would take him if it fits into your schedule, if you can't take him, don't worry, there's other professors out there.

3 exams count for your grade in the class. Attendance is not mandatory but he does use it to help boost your grade. He teaches straight off the powerpoints. This class is not challenging, and if you study the powerpoints and practice those practice quizzes, you will do well in the course. The lectures are a bit boring, but he is a kind professor.

Only had 3 exams and attendance wasn't really mandatory. He posts reviews for the chapters we did during the week on the weekends, which were always similar to the tests. If you slack off and don't study you wont pass the class. His classes are also really boring but he posts the powerpoints on blackboard

If ur like me, don't take this class! Reading the reviews I told myself I'd work early for this class but I procrastinated and cramped and THAT DOES NOT WORK FOR THIS CLASS! Sani gives you quizzes that don't count only over the weekend to take to help for each chapter, that's about it, 3 Exams 33%. Curves a little at the end, but dont rely on that

Do the quizzes, take notes, pay attention in class you will guarantee to get an A! He is super nice and understanding, just make sure to play YOUR part and study as well, exams are NOT hard. There are 3 and they're easy if you do al the chapter review quizzes he assigns.

Have to put in a massive amount of time in order to do well in this class. His reviews on blackboard help but are not enough to get a fairly high grade on exams. I went to class for a few days but stopped because its not helpful. Youre only graded on 3 exams so there isnt much room for error. Take him if youre willing to invest alot of time.

Hardly went to class and got a decent grade. Only things that count towards your final grade are exams. Attendance isn't necessary, and he only teaches from the slides so it really isn't something you have to worry about. Lectures can put you to sleep. Totally possible to cram all of the slides the night before an exam and do well.

Only grade comes from the tests, and you NEED the textbook! Get MyPearson+the Ebook! You should participate in class, asking questions is so beneficial. Study hard and do the chapter questions + some. Don't slack in Micro because it's the worst! Sani is the cutest little man though, I loved his outfits. He's a fashion icon and very caring!

Wants you to do homework but doesnt count it, grade consists of 3 exams only. Lectures are boring bc you cant even hear or understand him. Bascially teaching yourself. Read the textbook/slides, get myeconlab to do homework on your own to understand how to do problems. I never go and bascially teach myself bc the times i did go, it didnt help at all

He is a good and kind man who definitely knows what he is teaching. His lectures may be on the dry side and it does seem like he reads off ppt slides, but he always explains further. Everything on the exams--make sure you pay attention and practice homework from the textbook!--is taught. Prof. Sani Majid is worthy of that post-final exam handshake.

Flat out boring! Sani makes the topic so dry, although not interesting to begin with his monotone voice and slow approach to the course really negatively affects the whole experience. It makes you not want to pay attention in class but when you don't you're screwed for exams cause he steers away from the book. So PAY ATTENTION and study hard!Be

I feel bad for this guy! He's sweet and cares, he just doesn't display it well. Study the powerpoints for sure and take notes at his lectures. Attendance isn't mandatory but showing up helps your grade. He's very lecture heavy. 3 exams, non-cumulative. 1 final project--super easy

His exams are hard even though they are multiple choice. If you're a lucky class he'll give you extra credit. He also does a curve but at the end of the day if you don't to well on the exams the curve isn't really of much use.

If you're not familiar with the topic, I'd recommend going to EVERY lecture (even though attendance isn't mandatory). If you're consistent with learning the information it's an easy A! Do the textbook questions, and DO HIS EXAM REVIEWS ON SAKAI!! Puts most of the review questions WORD FOR WORD on the exam, that's how I got an A. Don't cram.

Not clear, he reads right off the slides but he gave us extra credit when we all bombed the exam so that was nice. Study like normal or a little more than normal. Wouldn't be one of your easy classes.
