Bad teacher, class is set up without regard to first two semesters of Italian. Rude to students. Incredibly unhelpful, only positive is she will schedule make-ups easily.

Comment:

Intermediate Italian is inherently not easy. You have to try and study to pass. But Katja really makes it as easy as possible. She is a saint and really gives students the benefit of the doubt. Absolutely love her. Not the most fun Italian teacher Iowa has BUT definitely the easiest and most sympathetic. Take her!

Speaks little English during class, even when students look confused! Talks WAY too fast! Does not prepare you at all for exams! Is INFLEXIBLE with office hours.
