Comment:
I did not care for Stella Hanson's class. She is a very tough teacher and grades harshly. I found tests to be very difficult and tricky. I spent every night of the week copying every single lecture outline into my notes and studying the materiel and STILL barely passed. If you're going to take a class with Hanson, I recommend it be in person.

I don't recommend taking Anthropology with this instructor. She was very unorganized and did not put any effort into the class. She was not helpful when questions were asked and didn't make directions for assignments very clear either.

Stella is an utterly fantastic instructor, assuming you're willing to actually read the material and pay attention in class. If you're looking for an easy A, move along. If you're looking to actually learn something, Stella is who you want. She is passionate about the material, and it certainly shows in her work. Thank you, Stella.

Stella was an excellent professor! I had her for Intro to Psychology and I learned so much! She has a great passion for teaching and knows how to relate to students of all ages. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in taking any psychology class. She is willing to explain anything to you that you may need help with, as well. 5 STARS!

I have no problem with this instructor. She was fairly easy and the intro to psych class was basically a joke, could have done it in my sleep. If you take notes, none of her classes should be that difficult.

Very difficult instructor. If you want to do good, take tons of notes, make this class your life, read chapter 50 million times, OR chose a different instructor.

Be warned, half the assignment/test material will NOT be available to you. Grading is EXTREMELY biased, don't agree with her? Here's an F. I highly recommend you look for a different professor, DO NOT, make the mistake I did.

Great, very challenging class where the lectures are pertinent to today's world and the topic we are studying. She pushes her students to really determine how they think and why they think the way they do. She is smart, and is the teacher--she is not going to hand you the answers. Listen to her.

Easily the worst teacher I've ever had. Tests are insanely hard, she's extremely biased, doesn't care how students even do in the course. Tests often contain material that wasn't in reviews. I asked her once how to study for her tests and she laughed without giving me an actual response. Would never recommend her for anyone.

i think this teacher is horrible. I do not recomend her to anyone, she has no teaching skills and judges based on ones opionion. For somone i never met personaly as i have an online class i sure feel her hatred pooring out into her teaching. Also she grades based on what she thinks is right not the facts. She may know her facts but thats it
