Chris is awesome! You can tell that he's so passionate about archaeology (and anthro in general) and it made the class fun and interesting. He can be super vague about tests, but take notes to study and it's not hard. No text book & you don't need to do the BB readings. Can be hard if you don't have a basic understanding of anthro, but he's great!

This guy is an awesome teacher - 3 tests and a final. But careful when you take him!! I took him during the SU2 session. I did struggle a bit - but mostly due to missing info during class.

Don't take this guy. He gives an insane amount of work. One test he sent out a 350 question study guide, along with 6 power points at 100+ slides each, and another with 70 pictures, and you must know all the pictures.

I was willing to take this evening class because a friend's recommendation of him was so good, and I don't regret it at all. He made archaeology interesting when I was dreading taking the class. His first exam is easy, second was hard, but he made the final a take-home. The essay is doable. He's very open to improving his class based on feedback.

3 exams, 1 paper (10 pages). His exams stressed me out so bad that I got nauseous just thinking about them. Material a bit over my head because it was my first Anthro class, so newbees beware. Nice guy, just didn't quite see eye to eye on material comprehension. A LOT of material to learn if this kind of stuff is new for you.

Good professor. Teaches the text, which makes things a bit boring if you have already read the chapter. No written homework. Two exams and a term paper (which really required most of the semester to research and write).
