He is sooo organized. We would receive a daily email explaining exactly what was expected of us in place of a zoom call for this asynchronous class. Dont wait to do your hw because there is a lot, but it is fairly easy. Dont be afraid to email him with questions! Would love to take him again for spanish II if he was teaching it!

He is so funny and he loves Dolly Parton. I took him for spanish I and II and I don't regret it. There is a lot of HW, but it's super easy and he gives you like 2 weeks to do each packet. Please take him.

DO NOT TAKE if you have not taken him for Span1, do not remember Span from high school, or are taking this class to buffer for harder courses. I had an easy Span1 teacher and this course was brutal. I could not understand what he was saying, I was stressed all semester, and was a straight A student before this class. Discouraging. Time consuming.

easy class. he makes you want to learn spanish; i think i learned more from him than my high school spanish class. lots of hw online, 2 oral exams, and 2 written exams. Cancels class 2-3 times during semester. a lot of group activities in class, and extra credit is sometimes offered to the class.

He's a good professor, I just didn't care for him too much. He's very nice and his tests are rather easy. Try to pay attention in the activities he does so you don't get on his bad side.

My advice would be that you don't take spanish at UIW, unless you're already fluent -then it's a good way to improve or maintain your GPA-. About a fifth of our class was bilingual and just wanted an easy A. Otherwise, it's not easy... It's actually a lot harder than other language courses, where students don't already know the language.

I would definitely recommend him to anyone taking Spanish! His instructions were always crystal clear. He teaches the material very well and easily- it's hard not to learn from him! He was funny and I always looked forward to going to his class.

Highly Recommended! I took Spanish I and II with him. One of the best professors that UIW has to offer. He's down to earth and teaches Spanish at a very good pace. He is very passionate about the subject and his "magic." His classes are easy going and as long as you go to class and pay attention, you'll be sure to be GREAT!

He is funny and can do magic tricks but will rarely show you. Everything is easy. His study guides are pretty intense for such short quizes. He does give you everything needed for all the tests and quizes though.
