I loved having Professor Flato as a teacher. He's funny, informative, and relatable. He is a tough grader, but if you actually want to learn things as you get your degree, take this professor.

Dr. Flato was on of the most interesting professors I have had in college. he doesn't try to impose what he believes into what he teaches, but he speaks of his various experiences with the different religions, giving us as a class our own opportunity to develop our own views. I would recommend him if you're willing to learn.

This is not an easy class! However, it would be easier if you keep up with the reading. He is more than grateful to help you, if you do not understand it. You need to talk in his class and be in the class--everyday. We had a mid-term, a final, and had 10 papers to complete. If you have an interest in the Holocaust, take his class.

Comment:
Ego driven. Wants to debate more than teach. implements his own personal grudges obviously. Lazy in grading. only gave two grades midterm and final then just gave the grade he felt suited you.
