She is such a sweet professor! She is a tough grader though and will really make you work for that A. I recommend taking her, we only had 3 essays this semester, and 2 of them were under 5 pages.

Had her online bc of covid. such a nice prof. She changed the class schedule to meet once a week which was a mazing and the readings were easy. Assignments were short and simple and she was very lenient with deadlines. She wanted us to keep our videos on but i never did. Also the lectures could be boring, i fell asleep but very nice and easy class

Professor Zimroth is a sweetheart and cares about her student. There is no required textbook. She assigns reading which is easily accessible online. I would say she is a little bit of a tough grader. You definitely to work a little harder to ger t does not give out As but still a very fair grader. But overly one of the most caring professors.

For a writing intensive course we barely did any essays. She was very disorganized and would just randomly give in class responses. In class discussions were always interesting and hilarious. If you're a decent writer take her, but if you struggle with writing she's not lenient with grading. She was an easy A for me.

For a writing intensive class, we never wrote an essay over 2 pages. She is an extremely tough grader and you must participate in her class. Shes very funny and knowledgeable about the topics of the course and can be VERY vulgar at times and really keep the conversation flowing with interesting topics.

This class was pretty easy for a writing intensive course we had about 3 writing assignments which were based on basic questions about a poem. Most classes were spent speaking on one poem. I would take her again.

I was really looking forward to Creative Writing but I was incredibly disappointed by the very loose class structure of this course. It felt like we barely did any writing. There is a lot of reading your own work out loud and you are expected to critique others work in front of the whole class, not good if you're shy.

Professor Zimroth cares for the intellectual and personal growth of each student. Time and again, to stresses through her criticism what the student can improve on, both as a writer, and as an independent thinker. Extremely considerate! Serious writers, who are seeking to improve their writing and critical thinking skills, look no further.

I had Prof. Zimroth for various English classes during 1985 and 1986 at QC. At that time, she was sweet and funny and personable, one of my favorites. It pains me to see these negative reviews.

After reading these reviews, I did not want to take this professor, but had to because she was the only one teaching a class I needed. Seeit's not that she's a tough professor or the class is terrible. It's a pretty easy class. However, her personality is unbearable as she is extremely patronizing and condescending. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid!
