Calls on students in lecture. Cute older prof who is really sweet. Assigned readings are interesting, with class discussion following the assignment upon next meeting. Sometimes has large pauses between thoughts in lecture or loses train of thought. Need to provide own blue book for exams. Provides exam study guide. Some papers assigned.

Professor Clark hosted one of the most enjoyable classes of my semester! He has in class assignments, but the majority of lecture was just discussing the content we read. Interesting class, and a lot of fun. I would recommend him to anybody that likes to read. Very clear and helpful, never leaves you in the dark about projects or questions you have

Really great professor. He really has a passion for good literature and excellent writing. His age shows sometimes as he moves slow throughout class and trails off during lecture sometimes. He has a very dry, witty sense of humor if you do happen to catch his jokes during lecture.

He's nice enough but his age gets in the way sometimes. He is hard to hear and he trails off and stops talking sometimes as if he forgot everything he was about to say. If you don't listen very carefully, you will miss stuff. Puts all notes on Vspace. Exams fairly easy, papers fairly difficult.

You know, the man looks like a stiff breeze would knock him over. But don't be fooled. He is one of the sharpest professors I've met. He has a ton of passion for the subject, and uses a lot of humor. If you can put in reasonable effort, this class is cake. I should know, I failed 204, the previous semester, but got a B in Prof. Clark's class.

Wonderful professor! I think he is very kind and loves what he does. Dr. Clark makes the lessons clear and easy to understand and he explains things in great detail. The class moves at a slower pace, but I thnk it helps students get a firm grasp on the material. I would definitely recommend Dr. Clark!

He is a very good professor. Encouraging, and always willing to help. He is genuinely interested in Arthurian Legend, which made classroom discussions and activities more engaging.

Mr. Clark is so cool! He's really funny, makes it very interesting with group discussions and his own interpretations. You don't ever get marked down for having a different viewpoint than him, he encourages your thoughts! Great guy, I'd take him again in a heartbeat, just don't forget to do the readings!

Dr. Clark is a nice guy, but he's simply too old to be teaching. It takes him a long time to go through anything in class which makes for a very boring class. I get A's in all my other English classes but he grades so oddly that I've been getting low B's or C's. I got 20 % off of a five page test for answering one little question wrong. Retire.

He is hard to understand a lot of the time (because he mumbles and his hand writing is chicken scratch) but you eventually adapt to what he's writing. If you ask, he'll explain anything and was very useful in this matter. He has office hours if you need them...reading is mandatory (or sparknotes) but he will quiz on obscure things. Hard grader.

Horrible Professor takes forever to get anything back is alway getting off on tangents about this that and the other thing. He is fairly reasonable about explaining things if you want to come ot him AFTER CLASS. Never explains things in class you HAVE to read the books no sciming and pay attention to detail do not take if you do not have to.

Cutes old man ever... However, HORRIBLE professor. He takes weeks (months) to grade papers and emaxs. He doesn't have a grading scale. He talks about nothing in class and waste your life writing things on the board that doesn't even make sense or matter. Attend every class go to office hours and act like you care. Wouldn't take again

Dr. Clark is a sweet, older guy. He is easy-going and understanding. However, he is a slow grader, but very fair. He posts class notes often onto v-space, so print them and you won't have to take notes! Overall, great English prof.
