Linda was the best! I learned so much in that class! She treats everyone in her class like adults, which is very nice. I loved the novels, poems, and short stories that she chose for us to read. I also loved that she gave us our exam layout before the exam. I would recommend her class to anyone. She was awesome!

Linda is a great prof. STU needs more profs like her, she is willing to meet with her students and and shows her interest in the course. This was the best English course I have taken at STU...wish I took more with her.

"If you didn't date the football team, your marriage won't last"(re:Hero)."Don't pit your 3yrs against my PhD." Just 2 things she said this term.Very frustrating class.Stressing 'good arguments' for papers, she fails to do this herself in her lectures-if they can be called that.Nice, but poor style.

Allows class to wander, no real insight into readings which should be expecte from profs, too much group work not enough ass kicking (ie. everyone is correct, too post-modern), she needs to learn how to controll her class and tell people they are just plain wrong every so often.

Comment:
Unfortunately this class is rather boring. McNutt is a nice enough professor, however she doesn't bring much excitement to the class. She also has a tendency to alienate about 1/4 of the class with her obvious feminist bias. Her lectures tend to be "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

I would like her more and would do better if I were more like her. And by more like her I mean a girl. I'm not saying that she is a feminist, but if I had **** and a higher voice I can promise you I would have had a higher mark.

this was a night class, so we were in store for three hours of her regurgitating the introduction from each play (in a slow drawl) for the entire span of the class. Nice but boring and a little too pompous

Linda is a very talented person who has amazing visions. She knows what she can demand from her students and pushes them to go for it. She does type-cast her plays but so do most Directors. She is an awesome prof, congrats on the Phd.

hmmm...perhaps it's a bit too easy for someone who didn't like their mark to review the same professor (over and over again) on this site? Ignore the last two mean-spirited reviews. Linda's a great teacher, a great listener -- and her courses kick *

Why does she have to be so stuck up? Really. It's not like she is the only prof or woman for that matter to get a Phd. STOP!!!!!
