She is very quiet, even sitting in the front I was not able to hear her. She doesn't follow her syllabus and would often times get off-topic or just forget what she was supposed to be teaching us. Her homework did not match what we were learning in class and were passed back much later, usually after the exams. She never posted grades on canvas.

Really sweet professor. I have taken 2 classes her. Humn class was a cake walk. 3 tests, 2 paper. She changed 2 of our tests into take home papers. you can spark note everything and do fine. everyone got at least an A- on the papers. attendance was only taken to give people extra credit for showing up. class is very boring, TAKE HER FOR HUMANITIES!

The sweetest professor ever. She's very understanding that things come up so she will let you have an extension if it is necessary. There are 5 papers and a research final that you will do well on as long as you explain your thoughts and ideas behind the prompt. Lets u hand in a deft and a final paper so you have the opportunity to always get an A

She is very sweet. May not be a good professor, but she is very knowledgeable and it can be quite easy to get an A in the class. She is probably too forgiving on her tests, giving too many points. go to TA hours if you want a 100 on all the homework. They basically do it for you. May not learn much, easy to figure out how to get an A.

Dr. Edgar is a very sweet lady--but not a good professor. I can genuinely say that I have learned nothing in this class. Not one person in my class actively listens to her lectures, as they consist of her reading word-for-word out of books with little contextualization. Lectures are useless for papers, which make up the entirety of your grade.

Stacey is a sweetheart and her class is very easy - you don't really need to show up or do the readings as long as you work hard on the papers. She is a fair grader and her grades will reflect the effort you put into your papers, which are the only grades. Listening in lectures is not important since there are no tests. Like a grandmother!

An absolutely terrible professor. Lectures make no sense and she refuses to use an organised lectured method such as powerpoint. She instead gives lectures using a dim overhead projector.

She is a very kind person, but her lectures are scattered and full of random movie clips. It isn't hard to do well in this class, but her grading seems completely random.

Stacey is very smart but she is difficult to follow because I'm not sure she knows exactly where she is going either. She is the sweetest old woman, but lost my papers on multiple occasions. I would take a bullet for this woman, but I would not take another class with her.

Prof. Edgar is very sweet and really just wants everyone to pass so she's pretty accommodating. Sometimes she's not too helpful in lecture and just does practice problems so the key to pass is GO TO TA HOURS!! That's where they go over all the homework and explain anything you need.

Dr. Edgar is super nice. She brought clementines and cookies to our class every Friday. The class, although small, is entirely run by her lecturing at students. That was the only part I really didn't like about the class. You really don't have to pay attention to get an A in her class, as long as you write good papers (which she outlines clearly).

There are 33 people in my class maybe 9-10 show up each day. She just sits at the top of the class and reads from the book, doesn't actually teach, she's smart but starting to lose it a little. I got a B on both the test and the paper. I didn't even buy the books let alone read them . Humn is a lightweight just make a quizlet before each test

The sweetest woman ever!!! She's a little quiet so sit in the front of the room. She gives a ton of partial credit and acknowledges that you tried (if you actually do). She always answers her e-mails and really cares about her students. The SI sessions for this class are great too and if you do the homework and generally try, you'll be fine.

Prof. Edgar is sweet, and very knowledgeable, but is unable to pass that information on to her students. She litterally reads from the text and gives no extra insight that you cant find on Wikipedia. We have tried to get her to interact with the class but she waves it off. People have slept in class and she says nothing.

Such a sweet woman. However she isnt the best at explain how to do things in class and sometimes she loses her train of thought. You NEED to go to the TAs if you want to actually understand things. Theyll help you with each of the 13 homeworks and do reviews for each of the 4 exams which are great. Sit in the front for lecture or you cant hear.

Dr. Edgar is a nice person, but I didn't like this class. If you don't understand logic (which is hit or miss), you won't get an A unless you have a friend in class who can help you through it. Go to office hours with the TAs, because you'll get 100s on your homework assignments. Tests were really hard but Edgar does give partial credit.

Stacey Edgar is extremely intelligent and a kind hearted person. She makes jokes about watching tennis, mostly. This class was extremely difficult for me and there was a ton of homework. She is tough to understand in lectures unless you sit in the front. She genuinely does want everyone in the class to pass, even if it may be difficult.

Comment:
Stacey Edgar is a hot piece of potato if I have ever seen one. Her intro to logic class was informative and helped with classes later on in the philosophy department. Her TA hours are very helpful. She often shows up to class late because of the intense sport of tennis, but don't be fooled she doesn't play herself only observers at late hours.
