Prof. Abbasi loves chemistry and loves to teach. She is an old school professor so be ready to write a lot from the chalkboard. She cares about her students. Make sure you read all her notes and textbook. There are no surprises in her exams. Study hard and you will be fine. Excellent professor.

I took this class through recommendations through RateMyProfessor. Sadly, she's been the complete opposite of what I was looking forward to giving that Chemistry is my favorite subject. She has a complicated accent to understand, her handwriting is not clear at all. She does not like to help her students and doesn't explain her lessons well.

Prof. Abbasi made me actually wanted to learn and enjoy Chemistry. She truly cares for all her students and wants you to pass. She's a real Gem!! You WON'T REGRET taking her class. Trust me. Her notes are very clear and super helpful for all exams. She'll help you any way that she can so you could understand the materials. I'm going to miss her.

Professor Abbasi is the perfect choice for Chemistry class. I like her teaching method which makes me understand better and in an easy way. Her lectures are so helpful and I learned a lot from her. As a person, she is so caring and I miss my mom whenever I see her because she cares her students so much like her daughter. Definitely take her!!!!!!!

Professor Abassi is one of the best professor that BMCC has. I never had a professor thats cares so much about their students futures than professor Abassi. No textbooks require, whatever she writes in the board thats what is going to be in the test. Take her you are not going to regret it.

Prof. Abbasi is a great professor. She provides you with all the material you need for the class and textbook is optional. Very straight forward texts directly from her lectures so make sure to take good notes. Cares about her student, although her accent is heavy you will soon adjust to her. I greatly enjoy her class. Take her if you need chem.

I loved Doctor Abbasi. Getting through her course was no walk in the park but, if she sees that you are willing to work, then she will work with getting you an honest grade. She personally took the time after class to explain anything thing that i did not understand and it helped me a great deal.

This teacher made me actually like Chemistry. Great profrssor!! She wants all her students to pass. You don't need the textbook at all. Attendance is super important as all her exams come from all the notes she gives in class so if you miss a class it can cost you a section in her exams. Study your notes and guaranteed an A!

What can i say, Easy going professor who loves her job. Very fair grader and exams are fairly easy. Exams are made up of mostly multiple choice , fill in blank , and small math or drawing problems. Final is 30% of grade but its everything from your former exams. Really nice teacher talks with an ascent but ull understand her. Got an A.
