Unsure at first, but he's one of the good guys. He is insanely passionate about the environment and what he teaches, always willing to work w you, very understanding, and gives a lot of points back on tests if you have a good reason. Always there after class to talk and many ppl do so. He's become like a mentor to me. Always take him if you can!!

Dr. Schulze is a great guy and is very passionate. He is very disorganized and there is a lot of reading that is not discussed in class. I felt that the grading for the written report was unfair and the test are really difficult. You really need to like the subject to take this class.

Love this guy! He's really nice and offers extra credit, at least he did this semester. He also let us turn in stuff late if he forgot to remind us about an assignment. We were behind on the syllabus a lot, but nobody really minded. Tests and quizzes are heavily based off of lecture; he'll throw in a few questions from the textbook.

Super nice guy. Loved his rants about the environment and ecology. Really passionate about the subject matter. Still says hello to me in the hallways. Always willing to help students who want to help themselves.

Pete is so nice, he truly cares about what he is teaching, and it shows in his courses. He is available for consult a good deal of the time to help you with a study issue, or just give you the encouragement you need to carry on. Honestly I would marry the dude, he's that cool.

He is one of the best profs at AC. He does get off topic sometimes, but usually those stories are soo interesting! He is very helpful, he always made time to help any of his students out if they needed help. Truly a great genuine teacher. I think they should have a scale of teacher awesomeness, with 10 being peter schulze and 0 being hank gibson

I hate loblolly pine trees!!!!! I thought that lab time could have been better spent. I wanted to drop the class and he promised that there was no need to. I was not real happy when I go a D!

I love him. Yes, he gets off topic and we are behind, but I find it endearing. He is so passionate about what he teaches and I am now in love with env. studies and am thinking about minoring in it, although I just took the class for a lab science. It is a great class!

He gets off topic a lot and it's very annoying to find out the class is over a week behind on the syllabus. And he doesnt have the backbone to tell students who ask off-topic questions for 20 minutes of the class, "Hey, can you ask me after class?" so EVERYONE else has to get behind because he can't stay on course. Stop the tangents!

I love Dr. Schulze, he is definitely in my top 2 favorite professors at Austin College. He was just genuinely interested in what he was teaching and making sure that we understood it. The only class in college that I actually did all the work in. I also think that I still hae a cursh on him. he he.

Pete is the best professor I've ever had at AC. A great thing about his is that his exams ACTUALLY cover what he lectures on, so if you take good notes, and go to class, you'll do well in the class. He is also a lot more interesting to listen to than others in the Bio Dept.

schulze is by far my favorite teacher at AC so far. He presents materials very well and helps you reason through certain topics. His class was difficult but definitely not a weed out class. try bio16 for a weedout class

I never liked Biology, but when I took it with Schulze, he made it much more tolerable than anyone else. He's good at keeping your attention in lecture and also cracks jokes to make bio not so boring. He'll also turn you into an environmentalist.He Rules!

Schulze was funny in class, but wasn't very approachable. His Biology 15 (supposedly intro level) is a weed out class for Pre-Med students. It's definately not easy.
