There is homework for every lecture, The only thing graded are exams, so make sure you do good on the exams and to do the assigned homework. Curves all test!

This is a hard class. You have to put in about 10 hours a week just for homework to get a decent grade. Her tests can be a little bit of a surprise. She gives practice tests, but I learned to study the things that were not on them. Definitely gives some of the hardest exams I have ever seen. You want to get good attendance for extra credit.

She does have an accent but you get used to it pretty quickly and the pre-written notes are hard to read at first but once you get used to them they're easy to read. And she posts everything on moodle, she also puts practice exams very similar to actual exams overall not a bad professor I recommend her in comparison to most of other math professors

I couldn't understand her at all she talked so quietly. She is not a good teacher, her notes are pre-written and hard to understand and follow. No homework collected (BUT YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD DO IT). Grade is off of three exams and final. 85% attendance needed for your final grade to be curved (Which you definitely want). I taught myself.

i have no words for this professor. I walked into this class every MWF asking myself why am I here. The only point in going is for the attendance curve. I stressed everyday about this class just to pass by 5 points. Get ready to teach yourself every single concept. DONT DO IT.

She was the worst professor I ever took. She graded so unfairly. She was very hard to understand. She messed up in lectures all the time. I can't even read her handwriting. Lectures were pointless to go to since I couldn't read the lectures or understand what she was saying, but she curves your grade based on attendance.

This is unbiased where it doesn't matter what grade I get, here's my opinion . . . She's a nice lady, but when you can just read out of the book and get better information than what's in the lectures, the class becomes wasted hours in your life (she takes attendance though to determine borderline grades). The only up-side is she uses Web Assign.

Do NOT take this prof. She talks very quietly, and her accent is heavy. This would be okay, if not for the fact that her notes look like chinese script. Her notes are prewritten and she moves too fast over them. I put 3 hours of studying/HW in per class, not that it mattered bc tests were much harder than any HW problems. Grade: 4 tests, no HW cred

Lectures were read off pre written slides posted on moodle. Going to class was pointless. Hand writing is brutal, hard to understand as well. Do the homework problems and study sample exams and you'll be fine.

Gives horrible partial credit. Marked me down -10 out of 15 for missing a variable, marked the kid next to me down -5 for getting the entire problem wrong. Can't understand anything she says. Practice exams are nice, except when she throws random questions not covered on the actual exam. Class is pointless. Her writing looks Chinese too. Horrible.

I took Linear Algebra with her and got an A. She's not as bad as people say she is-definitely one of the better professors I've had at OU. She is always available to help and gives a lot of partial credit on exams. I would recommend her.

She literally read from the book the entire time. so its a teach yourself class. She allowed the entire class to copy during quizzes and exams and even left during these exams for 5-10 minutes at a time. so if your terrible at math take her with some friends and you'll be fine.

Easiest math class at OU I have had so far. The practice exams were almost identical to the actual exams, and she posted lecture notes online. Professor Zhang's grading was more than fair. She did have an accent, but it didn't matter because she wrote everything down.

Give her a break! She's not that bad. I've seen worse... She's always helpful during her office hours, and wants all of her students to do really well. The AMOUNT of HW is ridiculous, but its difficulty lvl is manageable.

Just because Wen Zhang has a Ph.D. in math doesn't mean that her intelligence will rub off on you. She expects you to follow along as she skips critical steps in proofs and problems. Her accent isn't that bad, but her teaching style is.

I received an A in Calc I &II and somehow got a 1.5 in this class. Her practice exams were easy and i could do them all no problem but when it came to the real exams they were "Brutal", as someone else put it. She doesn't collect or grade HW nor does she ask what questions you had trouble with. i have to retake this class now and will not take her!

She is an ok professor, however her english is horrid, its very hard to understand her accent and contrary to popular belief i found her grading to be very strict, not to mention most of the work is graded by a teachers assistant which changes every semester so i dont know how you can say her grading is easy.

I was nervous about taking this professor at first, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that she's not that bad! Her accent is easy to get used to, she's an incredibly fair grader, and I had an easier time in her Calc 2 class than in Calc 1! She gives lots of examples in class which is really helpful too!
