Prof. Fair is a tough grader. He assigns a lot of readings in just a short period of time. Make sure you follow his paper guidelines. If you read, you'll survive.

I hated this class and this teacher. You can barley understand him, he hates repeating himself and he doesn't really like questions. If you show you are concerned with your grade and ask him to reconsider he might but he is a very difficult grader. His tests are one page of just terms and names of readings we read that you have to explain.

I have had so many excellent professors at La Salle... This man almost made me regret ever enrolling there. Personality like a dead, rotting animal left for dead on the side of the road. The epitomy of monotone voices, and INDECIPHERABLE handwriting. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

You WILL learn but it won't reflect in your grade. He is VERY difficult. You have to read the textbook, the CD readings, handout, three other little boring dry books, plus go to art museum. His classes are ok sometime boring espcially when he bring out tv and forces the class watch movies on the most dumbest subjects in the world.

Fair is an intelligent man, knowledgeable in "global history" seems like a nice guy but this does not qualify him as a teacher. He is hard to understand,, unrealistic with time frames and can make you feel like an idiot. If you can take another history teacher, do it. It is not worth the stress.

Very difficult teacher to understand. Will write one word on the board, but then will jump off to a completely different story. Is very brilliant, but like that famous saying goes, "Those who can do, can't teach." He represents a perfect example of it, not a bad person overall.

Oh my god I think this man is evil incarnate. I truly believe he thinks we're his only class. I understand that work gets hard as college continues, but it's a 100 level class for gods sakes! He talks down to his students, expects us to know nothing and I leave his class angry. Avoid him at all costs!!

He talks down to students so much, and his final was ridiculously hard. He makes you read over 100 pages a night, and if you don't read it, you're screwed when it comes time for one of his awful tests.

i have never hated a class or professor as much as this one. i struggled everyday in this class because of him. he assigns massive amounts of reading and is never clear on what it exactly is that he wants on the tests. whatever you do, do not take any of his classes unless you are a history major.

you have to buy 4 books for his class, read 3 of them entirely. 3 exams, a book test, a paper, and a final. you have to know your**** or he will give you a C or lower. i don't suggest taking him. his lectures are very confusing, but he is a really smart guy.

I never thought I could hate a class as much as I hate Fairs. You have to write 2, 5pg papers on a book and a museum. They may be the only thing in his class that you can make sure u get an A on. All of his HWs r readings. They are at least 70pgs a night. He quizes the readings. Studing for a test is a waiste of time. Avoid this class!
