Comment:
Dr. Morrell is a very nice man, but he is not a great professor. ST 110 is not aimed towards statistics majors, yet he often acted like it was. He came to class prepared, and even though I was focused and prepared myself during class, I was often confused during lectures. He reacted negatively when we had questions, making it even more challenging.

Dr. Morrell means well and seems like a nice guy, but this class was the hardest class I've ever taken. He is never clear on what he expects and wants and only grades certain problems on the homework. The tests are ridiculously hard when you think you know the material and shows no sympathy for anything. Please avoid taking this class with him.

He is super nit picky on the homework. Did most of my assignments and still received poor grades. Tests are actually pretty fair, but homework is impossible. He gives a lot of projects. Would suggest taking an easier Stats teacher because they are out there. He treats his class like we are all Stats majors.

I was not sure if I should drop this course, considering I had a low grade. Lets just start and say, Dr. Morrell is not a bad person, just a very difficult and non comprehensive professor. Dr. Morrell assigns homework assignments every week and they are VERY extensive. Tests mean everything so if you do bad, say goodbye to your grade.

Okay, I am currently in his class and he has to be the worst Math teacher/professor I have ever had in my life. He expects you to know the topics when he barely teaches and gives you homework on stuff you have yet to do in class. AVOID HIM!!!!

He was a good guy, weird at times, was not a good teacher. He doesn't understand why someone with minimal mathematics skills could not understand a topic. His office hours were okay, he would just look at you funny if you didn't understand something. He's a tough grader, sometimes puts topics on tests we barely covered and gives out a lot of hw.

Dr Morrell is a nice man person. but as a professor, he is the absolute worst. our class was a coding based statistics class which was one of the most difficult classes that I have ever taken. homework is 50%, and two projects that are 25% each. and he shows no mercy for the projects. it was like pulling teeth for him to give 3 extra credit points.

Dr. Morrell is a good teacher, but is really tough with test grading. He'll deduct a ton of points for little things, and he's not too understanding about it. Overall, I liked his class. He was very organized and his notes were understandable and he was willing to answer questions during class. Homework takes a while though so don't procrastinate

Dr. Morrell was a really harsh grader for his exams, and even if you went to his class all the time it was still difficult to comprehend the material. The class really tried to help each other out but to no avail and more than half of us received grades we felt were not equal to the amount of effort we put in.

Dr. Morrell does not care about his students. I went to him for help often and he was not helpful and demeaning. If you struggle with math I highly recommend you take a different teacher. His classes were also extremely boring and stressful.

Go to class & take notes & you will be fine. He is nit-picky with grading but as long as you pay attention to what he wants, which he makes explicitly clear, you will get full credit. Class pace is just right, exams are fair.

Dr. Morrell goes over the material very quickly, and if you get lost, good luck figuring out how to catch up. There's a lot of homework, but it's only due at the end of every week, and there are computer assignments sprinkled about. Tests aren't too hard if you've paid attention and done your homework.

Dr. Morrell is a great stats professor. The material is a bit challenging, but he explains it very well in class. It's really important to go to class in order to understand the material. There are weekly homework assignments, and occasional computer assignments. If you put in effort, you'll get a good grade.

Probably the most challenging course I've ever taken. The material is very confusing and the way he teaches it does not facilitate at all. The tests are incredibly confusing since all of the problems are worded so strangely that you will be unsure as what to do. Morrell is a very nice guy and he will try his best to help you if you come to him.

Professor morrell is very nice and kind however his teaching style is a little confusing. He expects you to understand commend immediately and is a very harsh grader- will rarely give partial credit. The homework is nothing like the class. Very challeneging the way this course is taught by him.

Took him for ST110. Not a huge fan. He knows Stats very well but has trouble relating to students. Otherwise he is a great guy. Go to him for extra help and make sure you get a tutor.

A delightful man with a charming accent and resembles a meerkat. Get your pencil ready to move for daily homework daily and notes because he starts talking anything is fair game for the home works.
