Straight shooter; if you do what he suggests, your chances of being employed in-crease. If you don't follow his advice, you may not be as successful. It took me 4 interviews but I am now employed for the summer of 2010. A lot of jobs in the west end of GTA, not nearly as many in the east.

Get on his good side and your in like flint. Piss him off or forget to do an assignment (ie. resume, cover letter) or anything else he asks for and he will isolate you in front of the class. Remembers everyone's name and gives you confidence and provides great feedback on interviews. I am quite happy as I had 3 interviews and have a placement now.

I throughly enjoyed having Ian as my co-op teacher. He is so nice, always smiling, and willing to go the extra mile in order to get his students the job. I have maintained my job since the co-op placement and couldn't be more happier.

As a civil engineering co-op student, I am very pleased with Ian, as he asked us to call him. We have had 3 interesting and informative classes and he even had a resume critique drop-in session where he brought one of his co-workers to help with the volume of students, There are already 20 plus jobs posted for my class, He seems keen to help.

Not a bad guy. Found us civil students lots of jobs. I applied to 7 before getting an interview and another 3 before getting hired. Making good money for the summer! Some of my classmates don't have jobs but have not applied to much. Having a car and license realkly help.

anyone could do his job. He does not focus on the students. He focuses on kissing the companies ass. The companies that are interested in us are desperate companies who need a quick workforce. He is not doing his joB !! plus he will tell you one thing, and do another !
