This professor openly discriminates against dual credit students. She will do everything she can to lower your grade, even if your grades match up to what the syllabus says the grade is. I had to go to the dean in order for her to give me the correct letter grade compared to the number grade. She is very rude to dual credit students.

Attendance is critical. Dont take an 8 week course for this class if you cant handle the amount of work given which is usually the same as a regular semester class. Shes fair grade and genuinely cares about her students and always tries to help them pass. You must do a service learning project summing up to 15hrs

She hates dual credit students. I received a 93 in the class and then I saw that she gave me a B. I emailed her multiple times over a week and she didnt respond. Finally, she responded and said, "I'm just not an 'A' student". BUT I HAD A 93 IN THE CLASS! Then a few days later, without another email, I saw that my grade was changed. So frustrating!

The homework is pretty self explanatory, just a bit time consuming. The speeches are short and you only have to do like 3-4. Great teacher, very nice.

I loved taking this class. Those that are introverted and hate speeches learn to really come out of their shell in this class. I was dreading this class because I hate public speaking, but she made everybody more comfortable with it and I became quite good at it. Definitely recommend!

She was a nice lady, the way she taught the course material was just not suitable for the way I learn. She teaches by modules which means you have to turn in about 10+ assignments every few weeks depending on the module. Also you have to present about four speeches throughout the whole semester. You can manage to pass, but it's time consuming !

You have to buy her textbook that she wrote and all your work will come from it except for the 4 or 5 speeches you will write. If you don't have her book, you will fail. After 2 absences she will take 25 points off your overall grade EACH absence.

Great teacher, knows what she's doing, does have these modules though, that include kind of a lot of work , most of which you do outside of class. But she cares a lot and really wants you to succeed. She's for sure a teacher you need to take.

Dr. Forrest is a great teacher,honestly you have to try to fail. There are so many opportunities to pass. You really do need the book to do well. You also need to go to class, attendance is really important. If you have a problem with life happening she is very understanding and is willing to help you pass. She is very passionate with the course.

Mrs. Mary is a great professor! There are 6 different modules that have a lot to a little work in them, but mostly it's all self explanatory. The tests are easy, there are extra credit assignments that she gives if you aren't happy with your grade, but overall you should get an A.

Dr. Forrest was a sweet and caring older teacher. The book work was simple and she is always willing to help you make an A. She does tend share her politial views with the class on a regular basis (elephant)but, besides that , she was down to earth and her class will boost your confidence level if you are engaged in learning. Go ahead and take her.

Ms. Mary is a great teacher, except you can expect a lot of paperwork. Buy extra ink for your printer. The class is very interesting and fun, but there is a lot of work to be done. I took a maymester and it was almost overwhelming. Take a reg. semester so you can really enjoy it. She is a caring and thoughtful teacher.

Dr. Forrest class has alot of work but all the work is extremely essay. Their are only 3 major speeches which are informative, group speech, and persuasive speech. As long as you do your work and say all speeches this class is an easy A. Highly recommended class for speech.

Here's how important this lady is to me: I took her class in 1973 and it changed my life. I went from shy and timid to becoming a theatre major and then going on to law school. I have now been a successful trial lawyer for many years and a law professor. I OWE IT TO HER. Do yourself a favor. Take her classes.
