Comment:
Maureen is great but she lacks organization. Really needs a TA to help with her workload since she often gets confused about what she has and hasnt assigned which leads to confusion for her students as well. Decent class though if you're taking it for NASIntl AffairsWSG

Not really any homeowrk for first half of semester, she was really lax about assigments being handed in and then in the last 2 weeks she assigned 3 papers and 2 online tests! She was lazy.

Online class. She couldn't be bothered to grade any responses we turned in all semester. I wonder if she read any of them or my final project. Ton of readings, I always skimmed. Somehow I got a B+ overall despite doing poorly on the prelims, which were nuts. I wouldn't recommend this class - alternatively I suggest to take it with someone else.

Half way through the semester (for her online course). She is a great person, seemingly helpful, but this class is way to much work. 300 level class worth of work. I have no idea what my grade will be. First 7 weeks, absurd quizzes every week. Second half of semester 2-3page paper every week. Book report due at the end of the semester.

Professor Smith was wonderful. She made class interesting and I learned more during that class than the rest of my classes that semester.

Horrible class. Terrible references...Terrible professor over all. Doesn't know anything about Native people. Abuses her power within the department by not getting other proffessors involved in the teaching!!!!

Don't take a course with her. She thinks she knows what she is talking about, but she doesn't show and in actuality, doesn't know much about her subject.

she means well and knows what she is talking about. kinda lax on the papers that she assigns, gives no tests. she gives deadlines, but then doesn't care when you hand them in. i do like the discussions that we have in class. very open-minded.

Wow. Don't take this class if you don't have to. She is hardly there, but doesn't tell you when she isn't going to show up. Seems like an ok woman, but is a horrible professor. Loves to draw her worldview circle EVERY class with the same information. Learned very little, very little.

has a lot of responsibilities in and away from school so her attendance record isn't great but I enjoy the material covered in classes. Not a good lecturer but discussions can help clarify so it's good to show up regularly.

I really wanted to be "politically" correct and like Maureen but she has a very hard time keeping up with her class duties. Where oh where are those papers and tests? She picked an excellent book though, Calloway. Not a good lecturer
