Dr. Schneider is a great professor! His lectures are very interesting and he throughly explains everything he wants you to know for the exams. There is no tricky questions as he is very fair with his exams. To do well in his class: go to class, listen/record, take good notes, memorize them, use his study questions, and contact him if you need help.

Absolutely love this professor. The class is very content heavy and you must really know the content for the tests, however the professor makes the class extremely interesting (this class isn't even relevant to my field). Does make you work for the grade but easy if you study. Great test review questions. Would definitely take again.

He's tough. Very nice and respected guy. Deff knows what he is talking about. HOWEVER his tests are very hard. A lot of memorization, but has extra credit on the tests. Make sure you study everything on powerpoints in detail and memorize! Tests are multiple answers to each questions and are scenario based. Takes a while to get adjusted to.

Study for exam about 3 days ahead of the test and you should make an A. Everything on the test comes straight from the ppt.

This class is extremely hard. There is 5 tests and those are the only grades. Will never curve even if most students fail the tests. Says your gpa is important and ruins it. Spent 5-6 days studying for each test just to barely pass them. multiple choice portions are too hard bc there is too many answer options. Tries to confuse you

Dr. Schneider is awesome!!! I really don't see how anyone fails his class. There's a lot of memorization but it's not hard if you study. I usually study material from start to finish 3 days prior to his test and I aced all 5. His final is optional and counts twice to replace your lowest test grade. Everything comes from his PowerPoints.

his class can be relatively easy if you choose to make it that way. 4 tests and an optional final which can help or harm you. Great class averages on exams, typically an A or B in a class of 80 students. Would definitely recommend him. Great professor who is clear about his grading policy.

Super hard test! Spelling to scenario multiple choice questions! Multiple choice questions and have 1 or more right answers so good luck! Every month has a test, final exam is optional that may help your grade or hurt your grade. Take him if you dont have a lot on your schedule, but you should avoid him. His testings are VERY HARD!

This was my first biology class that I had taken with this professor and he is by far the best. He is very passionate about what he teaches and wants to make sure that you know the information. You do have to work hard for your grade and his lectures usually take up the whole class. Follow the power-points & ALWAYS take additional notes!

This class requires ALOT of memorization. So I advise to take it when you are taking other easy classes that don't need much time dedication. You can make a B(I made a C) it's just a matter of organization in your studying of his PP slides. Tests vary(can be easy or difficult), couple extra credit questions, 5 exams, it's a give or take class

Great professor. Very knowledgeable and lectures are very interesting to listen to. If you have questions he is more than happy to help you. Grading is clear from the beginning and he posts the average grade and how many people in the class made an A, B, C, D, F. There are 5 tests and the final is optional. You do have to study, it is a lot of info

Super Easy!!! Textbook is not required and you don't need it. He gives you all the information you need for the tests on the power points AND gives practice tests for each test. Study for a couple hours the night before and you will be good, I got a 100 on every test he gave. Recommend if looking for easy, evolution credit to fill.

Grade solely off exams. Everything is on his power points. All you have to do is memorize 25-30 parasite species (background, life cycle, pathology) per exam. With 5 exams, there's plenty of opportunity to keep your grade high to avoid taking the optional final exam.

Dr. Schneider is an amazing professor. His test are tough, but if you study the powerpoints and attend class they are defiantly do able. He offers some extra credit on tests, but other than that the tests are all you get for points. The final is optional, and I would not recommend taking it since you learn 500 parasites over the semester.

He teaches using powerpoints, no textbook required. Very clear on what he tests on and hands down the best lecturer on campus. But his tests are very detailed so study EVERYTHING. Don't skip lecture because he will go over something that's not in the notes.

He is an amazing professor. Very clear in stating what you need to know. You can tell that he has a lot of knowledge because he'll sometimes get off topic but his story will end up being correlated somehow. Record him. He's not the easiest teacher but he's a good one.

Best biology instructor I have had. Knows his material, and you can tell he is active in it and loves it! The class is easy to listen too, he posts notes/powerp online. If you do bad on a test it is your fought, I got 3 A exams and a C last(my fought,I studied less, near finals). Taking another course with him! Take his animal behavior course!!!

Great professor! Took 2 classes with him and got As in both. Dont be fooled though, he is TOUGH. Be sure to know everything for exams, at least review your notes every night. His lectures are interesting but he does tend to stray from the topic at times from students asking too many questions. I recommend him though
