Worst prof I have ever had at MUN. Speeds through examples in class and get annoyed if anyone points out any mistakes he has made. If you try and ask him questions outside of class he will continuously tell you you're doing everything wrong without helping you try and do it right. Reluctantly took his class because I had to but I never would again.

He doesn't write notes. He goes through examples too fast to understand them. He has been teaching the material too long and it has become too easy to him. He even finishes the material a couple of weeks early and refuses to give review classes.. The course is hard and going to class doesn't help much.He is helpful however if you go to his office.

Chris is an awesome proff and he is very, very helpful. 3222 is a difficult course but Chris helped me a lot. That being said his lectures are pretty confusing he is sort of all over the place. This is where the textbook comes in handy READ the book GO to class and ASK for help you and you will be fine.

Fantastic Urban Geographer! He actually cares about his students and his willingness to help students illustrates this. Caveat: you need to know how to write at a third year level to do well in this class. Go to class to learn buckets!

Amazing prof! All around helpful guy, who helps his students. Gives very good notes. It's too bad he is retiring soon. One of the best profs I had in my past 2 years at mun!

An amazing professor who values the integrity of hard work. He is always willing to help those who truly want and need it. He is very understanding and possesses the ability to make a bleak subject interesting. I've had a few classes with him, all of which were great, but my favorite, by far, was Urban Geography. One of the best professors at mun.

Everyone is intimmidated by stats but it's not that bad. Chris is a great professor and really cares about how well his students do and is willing to help. THe material is difficult but if you work really hard you can get an A like I did. I advise everyone to take 3222 from him.

Great Urban Geog prof, took a few of his courses, knows his stuff! Hilarious and helpful, generally cares about students. Chooses interesting topics, promotes in-class discussion. Bottom-line: you show interest, then he'll show interest. Who he reminds me of? Red Foreman.

I thought the prof was great, not the best at explaining, but good nonetheless. In this course, you need to start working from day 1, on your own time. I thought he was a fair marker, and he basically told us what was going to be on the final and midterm. Go to class, pay attention and study; if you do this, you will be fine with this prof!

Terrible. The department has to find a new instructor for Geog.3222. There is a high failure rate in the course since he has been teaching it and people drop the course. Uses chalk and eraser to teach the course makes mistakes and confuses students. Gives no marking scheme for labs, assignments or exams.Doesn't care how students do in the course.

Sharpe is awesome! I was a bit intimidated by him at first, but once you get to know him, he's a great prof. While classes not manditory, he does take attendance. Also, while sometimes he seems to be confused (*stats*), he'll find out what he can and make it as clear as possible. When you convocate, look for him on the stage! :)

Sharpe is awesome!!! His notes consist of power points, which I found don't really help come exam time. Just use the book. Other than that, he's a really great guy! Funny, and really helpful. I went to him with my academic questions and other personals, and he was glad to help.
