She loves class discussions. There are a couple of papers and a mid term and final which are ALL take home. She is sometimes unclear about what she expects from you.

Lectures are boring unless off topic stuff is brought up. First time in my life i got a B+ on a paper with no marks other than good use of outside sources. Also class was nothing but writing though it isn't a writing intensive class

boring most of the time. some things she talks about in class can be interesting though. is open to discussion. what she went over in class has NOTHING to do with the papers we were required to write, therefore had nothing to do with the grade.

In six years of college, three different schools and two majors, I NEVER had a prof give me a poor grade on a paper that I thought was good - except this one. When I asked how I could improve it she wouldn't give specifics. I never did figure out what she wanted. Also, FYI, TONS of reading.

Insane workload. Hope you have time to write 12 pg paper, 4 pg paper, and a lot of smaller 1-2 pg papers. Don't forget a ton of reading to boot. Not enough time to do it all, and falling behind is very easy. Students DO have more than 1 class!
