Lets just say when i took the class i thought to myself i am definitely not passing this class not only was the homework was excessive but the reading was a lot. I never thought i would be graded the way i did and this shows that even if you try it goes noticed. He is a great professor he is definitely a tough grader but nothing is ever easy.

I can see that this professor has a lot of bad reviews but in my experience, this is one of the best Math professors that I ever had. In order to enjoy his class, you have to have a solid understanding of math 206 and other math topics that you learned before. Since I love math, I really enjoyed his class because he explains math in practical use.

This guy is the worst professor .I should have dropped him. I wanted to get into the BMCC nursing program but I dont think I can get in now because of him. He doesnt teach you anything. Sloppiest handwriting, very lazy. Gives you one example. You have to teach urself. Test are horrible different from practice test. Gives lots of Trick questions.

This is the worst teacher, if you can even call him a teacher. This guy is just plain horrible. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS. Sloppiest handwriting a cave man could of done a better job. This guy's been studying math for so damn long, he believes everybody knows what he knows and he'll get upset if he has to teach it to you.

Now that I'm finished with this course I wish I had dropped him and listened to the other ratings he truly doesn't give enough examples and expects us to know it all. I'm trying to get into BMCC's nursing program and I don't have a chance of applying anymore thanks to him :'(

He is a good prof. in my opinion people just don't listen to simple rules, he gives us lectures we watch them and they give us all the information we need for the assignment.I just started his online summer course and its going good so far. I thought it would be a horrible experiencing according to the reviews, but like I said so far so good :)

Professor Miller is dedicated and teaches with passion. He cares for his students. He raised my mathematics abilities tremendously to a high level.

He is not an easy teacher. He is not clear when explaining the topic and expects you to already know everything. I didn't feel comfortable in his class because if you get to answer some of his questions wrong he will yell at you.

While I cannot speak for the quality or level of difficulty in all of the courses Professor Miller covers... I found that the amount of homework (online and some handouts) as well as the weekly pop quizzes, were what helped me understand the work. I've had professors that were considerably less involved before & I have learned more in this class.

Prof. Miller is not as bad as people make him out to be. He may get loud at the class if we do not answer his questions but he really just wants to know if you studied the content. If you really pay attention and practice the math at home, you will definitely pass his class. I rarely participated so dont feel like you have to either. Do not skip.

This Professor is horrible, I just dropped this class its no way you can have someone like this teaching, I thought I was the problem learning , no he is. , he brags about years of experience as if students learn in his class.. should be a bit more understanding very true. Awful statistics professor. Never had a teacher get so mad at students for asking about a question or to explain further like him. I do not recommend at all. He doesn't explain problems well enough and is not a good writer so when he'll write on the board it was super hard to understand.

Took an online introduction to statistics course. Not attendance required of course. The course work was mostly weekly assignments, with one large project and 3 exams. You could take exam 3 or the final but not both. It was fine, the weekly assignments were manageable and the problems were mostly straight forward.

During exams, the professor would start writing done the answer key, which made me think that he didn't even prepare himself for the exam. For Maple lab, he didn't even bother handing out the grades for each lab as many students were still curious about it. His hand writing is so sloppy that I couldn't even read what he wrote on the answer key.
