Her class was easy but assignment heavy. She will answer your questions and work with you individually if you need help. You will have to keep up with assignments or you will fall behind. She is a caring teacher and will help you if you ask for it.

She was okay. She was very old school and would reprimand me for things like typing too loud or scold others for doing something on their computer other than listen to the lecture, even if it was beneficial to their other classes and their education. It IS possible to multitask and she was just very traditional in a way that was closed minded

I took her for Intro to Computer Info Systems. I hate the class, but it's NOT because of her, it's because of the Pearson online homework that we have to do. She does a good job of teaching stuff on the side and doesn't just hand us the curriculum and be like, go, teach yourself. She does treat us like we're in high school tho, which is annoyingish

I took her class to emlimate furture english courses when transferring, however, she was giving me bad grades on assignments that i had her look over before turning them in. I do not recomend taking her classes you can get a better professor.

So this class is extremely easy.. if you can manage time well. Professor Potter is mostly there to just ask questions considering the class is all online and few in class activities. If you want a teacher that teaches dont take her. If you dont mind book assignments take her. Was very nice to me

I never made a review about any professor before; however, here goes my first one. I wouldn't even call her a professor. Asking Prof. Potter a question is like asking the world from her! She gets annoyed very quickly, she shows barely any effort to try and help you when you have a question. If you email her expect a response 5-7 days later.

Gets back to you at the last second if you missed something. Gives a zero if you do not meet the required grade by .2 points. .2 points. Conference calls only to talk down and put down like a child. Pick another professor if you want peace of mind. Excel is easy but Im failing because of her harsh grading system. Working my butt off to get 60%.

This teacher is great if you actually make an effort to try on your own. If youre completely illiterate when it comes to Microsoft or computers in general she can get short with you. Assignments are long, but there is a step by step process for each one. Tons of quizzes. Very fair, gives thorough explanations of every assignment. Buy book online.

There's no point in actually coming to the class, since the book we used is what taught us everything. You're forced to come to class to take a quiz and sometimes an exam. It is a complete waste of time to take this class in a non-online format. The book does more teaching than the teacher and many times students had more answers than the prof.

I've had Ms. Potter multiple times and while she can get annoyed if you work on other classes or ahead at times, she's always open to being asked questions and is very understanding when things come up in life that prevent you from getting your homework done.

She is not a very kind professor whether it comes to grading or answering questions. I would highly recommend a different prof if possible. The class isn't that hard, it's just a lot of busy work.

Her book is used for every single assignment you do. She makes every class manadtory towards the last two months of the semester with assigments due in class, and if you don't do them you get graded poorly. Attendance is a must, but class is easy always left early never stayed the full class and she never had a issue with it

Terribly rude, and gets mad at people for asking questions. I was also on the deans list... but not that semester because of that class. Would only make assignments worth 15 points and then mark off tons of points for each tiny mistake until your at 0, actually gave me a 0/15 for an entire paper, the entire class is busy work, copying from a book.

Had numerous classes, not by choice. She is very picky, talks your head off, sitting in a chair, reading slides. Don't miss class, points for being there, if your not there even for a good reason you still can't do the in class assignment. She expects way to much and assigns to much at one time.

She graded ridiculously hard! She didn't clarify assignments and then would grade them off the wall, no chance to make anything up at all! And you cant miss one class because every class there was a test a quiz or an exam!

She shouldn't be teaching this class. She used another teachers syllubus and scheduale. She had a hard time answering questions about the subject being covered. The grading system is hard to understand and you don't really know what your grade is until she posts it at the end of class. Massive point deductions for small errors like others have said

Her grading scale is crazy just like others have said. I thought this class would be easy because I know a lot about computers but it can be very difficult when you are graded so harshly for such small mistakes. I'm pretty sure all the profs for these computer classes grade like this though.
