Comment:
This class can be pretty dry for a lot of people, but terry makes it 100 times more interesting than anyone else. His handwriting is god awful, but so are the other Econ teachers. He admits it, can make a good joke out of it, and still presents his material in a clear, concise manner. I would literally die for this man.

Dr. Alexander is a great lecturer and cares for his students. He encourages participation, but his lectures are a must so don't plan on skipping very many. If you show up, participate, and utilize him as a resource, you will do very well.

Terry was a fantastic Econ102 professor. While there isn't much homework (5 assignments all semester), he really dives in and makes you understand the concepts and how they apply to real life. Tests are made to be difficult, and while I was stressed towards the end of the semester because of the final, the course was overall really good.

Terry is well respected and very knowledgeable but makes things ridiculously more difficult than they need to be. If you're like me and find studying for hand-written tests very hard to do, then this is not your guy.

I'm not sure if I can speak for everyone else, but Terry made econ MUCH, much more difficult than it needed to be. If you need help, get it, because he expects you to know everything inside out ten times through.

Do not do it. Just dont. He means well but makes the class one billion times harder than it needs to be. Tests are all handwritten where other Econ professors do multiple choice. I worked my life away just to get a B.

He cares a lot about his students. You have to go to class to get notes but he is always if his office if you have questions. Exams are similar to the practice test.

He has a solid understanding of what he is teaching. His writing can be hard to read sometimes, and his notes can be all over the place. It all comes together eventually, so you might not understand anything until right before the test.

Very Fair with grading and fairly understanding. If you go to the lectures and study for the test you will most likely get an A. The way he teaches is also very good!!!

I took an online class with Terry and found his lecture videos super easy to follow. The homework was the exact same as the test so if you do the homework you should be good.

I loved having him as a professor! I had him for longer Econ 101 lectures for 1.5 hours twice a week and he would usually try to lighten up class with fun stories and jokes to makes class go by quicker. He also held review sessions, and the online practice exams were similar to what the actual exams. I would take his class again!

He is an amazing teacher if you are willing to work for it. You HAVE to go to class to pass. If you go to lectures, you will do great on the exams. Pop quizzes are a thing, but they are quite easy. Overall amazing teacher and made me fall in love with Econ!

He gave really thorough lectures where the problems in class were essentially the same as the ones he would put on the tests. Attendance wasn't mandatory but there would be pop quizzes all the time. He taught the subject well and he was definitely knowledgeable and has been teaching for a while so he knows what he's doing.

Terry actually cares if you learn in that class, he makes sure that you're not on phones or on your laptop doing things. He does handwrite his notes which can suck because his handwriting is sloppy. The homework is super easy. I would go to class because he does do pop quizzes all the time and his tests are very lecture heavy and all short answer.

Terry Alexander is an awesome professor if you meet with him one on one. He takes the time and effort to answer your questions in a way that is easy to understands. His biggest downfall is that he tries to teach the whole lecture hall like that and it detracts from his teaching.

This professor was one of the best professors I have had. He made the class engaging and will tell funny stories in between the information. He talks to people and will hold random conversations in class. His class is easy to follow and he posts notes and lecture videos on blackboard each week. I highly recommend him as a professor.

I found Terry to be a hilarious guy who interacts a lot with the students and genuinely tries to get to know us and makes a huge lecture seem more personal. Econ is not my area at all so I found the content to be hard and all tests are short answer/essay/graphing. Everyday is the same routine with him lecturing just writing notes out on the board.

Terry does things his own way. He's an odd duck but a wonderful duck. His tests aren't a cakewalk since there is no Multiple Choice and even the T/F requires explanation. As for lecture, he introduces something. and then does it again. and then goes over it again. and then in the next class goes over it again. He makes sure you get it.

Homework is completely useless. Nothing like the tests or what he teaches in class. The tests are extremely hard, and does an awful job in lecture doing problems like them to prepare students.
