He's really not that bad.. yes, you need to read & outline the chapters, and study alot in order to do well. But thats a given. If you like psychology, class isn't that boring. You have 4 tests, and if you miss one, he just averages the other 3 together to make the grade.. so you can basically skip a test if you did well on the first couple.

Very lazy teacher. Reading the textbook is far more enjoyable and valuable than class time. He treats his students like they are dumb, so they act dumb (feeling superior to his students if crucial to his confidence). Compensates for a meaningless classroom. experience with busywork. VERY FRUSTRATING

Meh. He's boring, and he barely makes the subject interesting. Don't take him if you're trying to decide on a psychology major or not. He'll make you seriously consider a different major.

Definitely a nice guy but does not stay on topic. Often wastes a half hour of class time explaining evaluation sheets and assignments. You NEED to read your textbook at home because he rarely covers even half of what he says he will in class, but it's still on the quizzes. Really flexible with attendance though, he grants more excused absences duri

Nice guy, but lectures all class and is very boring. He's probably better suited for another psych class where he knows all the material, he answers a lot of questions with, "I don't know, you should ask someone who knows more about it than I do." Talks too much about one thing and doesn't go over a lot of other material.

Fair grader. NICE guy! the research paper can be hard if you have never done a research paper before, but he is REALLY clear on what he wants and how to do it. no tests, just the paper. big on participation and attendance but lets class out early if there is nothing more to talk about, no busy work.

This class is a nightmare! Yeatman is useless and spends the entire class period trying to figure out individual students papers rather than spending class time discussing information relevant to the entire class and making appointments with those who need more specific assitance. The paper made me want to curl into the fetal position under my desk

Research methods is a class that requires effort and time. He expects that you figure things out on your own and does not offer a lot of assistance. No tests just the research methods paper which you can chose your own topic. Grades fairly. Be prepared to put in time and effort, help and seek assistance from your classmates and you will do well

It's definately a hard class to begin with, but he's a fair grader. Be prepared to participate in class because you have to evaluate yourself which will help at the end of the course. The work load is a lot. You basically have to come up with your own research proposal and then present it to the class at the.

Each test on 3 chapters. Tests are all multiple choice, plus 1 essay question that is pretty easy if you read the book. Makes you do a self-evaluation every class for participation and preparation, 3 points maximum for each. Also makes you write a paragraph about what you learned every day. He will use this as a grade, so attendence is key.

Do not take him. Not much work, but he is the hardest grading professor at this school. I got 100% on the midterm, did awesome on the final project and I still only got B! I don't get him, don't take him

He's a nice enough guy but he's a little boring at time. The material for the class is sometimes hard but he does his best to explain it so that it makes sense. The class doesn't carry alot of assignments but rather lots of readings. I would take this professor again
