Comment:
Did not answer questions, instead would direct to the lecture slide (which I have already read multiple times) and it was impossible to find a tutor for this course as well so it was hard to do well. Offered no support or additional explanations outside of what was in the slides. The only positive thing was I got an extension when I asked.

She tried her best to reduce stress with exams (no quizzes or exams, only take home assignments) but she only asked questions on the most difficult material taught. Most often, she asked questions on nothing we ever learned and expected us to research incredibly complex material, her assignments took 5 days to complete (one every week). Not nice!!

Takes forever to grade assignments, expectations are unclear. Her lectures are extremely boring, shes very monotone and doesnt give enough detail to properly finish assignments. Shes awful at answering questions, answering as vague as possible and referring students back to lecture slides.

Comment:
I took this course excited to finally be engaged with lecture content geared towards an integrative biology program... this course gave me a large slap in the face. Crease's midterms and exams were unfair, and unrealistic. Questions were asked regarding stuff we never learned, were far too complex, and most students left many questions blank.

Made an interesting topic very boring by making it very math/genetics based. Lectures in a monotone voice making it very hard to pay attention. Very vague answers to questions about assignments. Obviously very smart but the worst prof I have ever had.

Avoid her at all costs. Marks very hard. Doesn't provide good help to questions (refers students back to lectures). Do not take evolution with her, or any course for that matter. Made me greatly dislike evolution.

Worst prof I have ever had. Her voice is so monotone that it is impossible to pay attention to anything she says. she doesn't show any interest at all in what she is teaching and mumbles half of the things she says. if you can avoid this prof by taking this course in a different semester do it, dome hesitate or else you will regret it.

Comment:
Awful. Her presentation of material is monotone, boring and generally unhelpful. The assignments were ridiculously hard and the questions are worded in a way that is complicated and difficult to understand. You literally have to teach yourself the material because she will not help you.

Monotone. Boring. Tons of math. I was so excited to take a class on evolution, but she managed to make it the worst, most boring class ever! She's so knowledgeable, but is a terrible professor - she should quit and spend the time doing something she enjoys! Don't take this class with her if you can avoid it!!

Not clear in her discussion of ANY single topic. Her presentation of the material is more than confusing, her concepts are all jumbled together and way too vague.

She was teaching Evolution as if it were simply genetics. There was very little that was interesting and she focused more on the genetic problems than the history etc. The midterm was based solely on equations that she touched on once or twice in lectures and were much harder problems than the practice posted online. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER

rely on the text book folks cuz shes not going to teach you anything. She'll confuse you if anything. She reminds me of that mad TV woman who always hacks. Her exam was fair and I got 90% on it, but thats because i relied on the textbook.

Comment:
Her focus is on the big picture and she provides a good foundation for lab studies. It's too bad that she has to be associated with Greg (the power hungry lab tech) because he's what people hate most about the course.
