Claudia is very helpful. The workload is also manageable. You will need to read quite a bit of stuff, but it is rewarding and will open your mind to new possibilities.

Great Class, lots of work but very interesting. I have never read so much in any class ever! We were required to write two 5 pg papers comparing religions and write in multiple discussion boards weekly. Tests weren't to bad. Got an A with lots of HARD WORK. Overall fun class and I liked it. Teacher was very helpful and organized.

I took Claudia for Eastern Religions online. I had a blast. She's my favorite teacher at NHCC. She's really helpful and she loves what she does. Had to do alot of reading but worth it. The quizzes were easy A, openbook. No final. the field trip was relaxing. 2 papers to write, easy A too. Highly recommended. I loved her to death.

Online Eastern Religions. I love the subject, not the teacher. She docks points if people spell complicated names like the Bhagavad Gita or Mandukya Upanishad wrong, yet she has some of the worst grammar and spelling mistakes in her lectures. Some of her lectures are harder to understand due to the spelling mistakes. Lots of reading is required.

Teacher is horrible and has tons of typographical errors. Make sure you don't express you opinion beause if its not the same as hers, it is wrong. Very interesting topic just wish I would have known how boring she is and I would have taken it with a different teacher. Take this class with a different teacher.

She is a hard grader. She's very specific and hard on discussion grades and papers. If you don't use enough quotes to support your case, then you get docked points and if you use too many quotes she marks them off. I enjoyed what I learned, but I didn't enjoy her as a teacher. (And I even got a decent grade!) I wouldn't take her again.

She is extremely spacey and doesn't seem to know how to give directions or spell. She has such horrible grammar. You have to read a lot in this class, and a lot of it is pretty deep and hard to understand. She isn't very good at explaining and usually just explains things out of the book, which doesn't help at all. I wouldn't recommend her unless y

Online E. Religions. Interesting class, she loves what she teaches. Have to log in 3 separate days to post which was sometimes a pain, online is supposed to be at our convenience. Easy A if you read. Drove me crazy that this teacher with a doctorate has misspellings, punct. errors, and grammar errors. Tough grader on papers, but managed an A!

If you want to be the next Ghandi....take this class. She had us do really stupid projects. She seemed really spacey, but loved the topic. It seemed like a practical joke was being played on me!

I took her online class, pretty interesting really. Make sure you log in at least three times in a week cause it will count against you. But she does offer extra credit at the end of the course. So if you are not happy with how your grade is looking you have a opportunity to change it. Take her cause she does she know her stuff.

LOVED the class and GREAT teacher. Challenging course and time-consuming online. Expect to read tons...LOTS of extra lecture notes, but well worth the read. Result: LEARNED tons, too. Dr. Crawford is very clear, gives input in discussions and if you work hard (~6-10 hrs/wk) it is a do-able A for anyone. Must do 3 papers & 3+ a wk discussion posts.

Incredibly dull. Comes across like she doesn't know what she's talking about. I learned more in 15 min of reading Philosophy for Dummies than half a semester of her class. One of the worst teachers I've ever had. Aviod taking this class!!!

BORING! Her lectures consist of her reading from the book and handouts. She doesn't understand what her students ask her in discussion and if she does, she doesn't have the answers. She is a terrible and boring teacher.

Very boring lectures, but all the information for the tests comes from the readings, not the lectures. However she will practicially write your papers for you if you go to her office and have her 'proof read' your paper. Overall an easy A but boring.

Terrible...so bored by her droning on in lectures. No useful information...quizzes are based on readings so I agree with the other person that there is no point even turning up for this class. If you need to do any classes with her. DO THEM ONLINE!

Took this class online. Lots of readings and lots of discussions, with three papers to write. Not too hard though... just keep up every week knowing the stuff and you'll do fine. Big plus is that since the class is online, the tests were OPEN BOOK and NOTES. impossible to fail them unless you can't read.

When I read Dr. Crawford's lectures in her online class, it did not prepare me to behold in person the divine radiance that is Dr. Crawford. Her online class gave me an outlet for my radical ideas and beliefs.I would recomend her class to anyone.Ask her about Cannabis being the soma in the ancient Hindu text the Vedas, and being invloved with mystics
