I expect to pass with room to spare, but before anything is final have to say Professor Gothals is just not someone I want to work with again. He can be nice or haughty depending on the day, and don't interrupt his train of thought as it brings everything to a halt. Too much unnecessary commentary and very little actual teaching.

was excited to take this, and work with Scott based on positive reviews, but don't think I can take another course with him. Scott just doesn't seem to enjoy his job or maybe had a bad term, but wasn't into the material and talking to him was awkward and difficult. what a let down.

Scott is a nice guy, but is just not a teacher. He isn't responsive to questions. doesn't like to be interrupted and doesn't seem to take interest in students unless they can bond over TV or Movies. Lectures are disorganized and inflexible, course work is largely for memorization purposes not learning... would not recommend, take the cert. instead.

Those reviews are from the people who slacked off, didn't make an effort, and were pissed because they either failed or didn't receive the grade they wanted, ignore them. Scott expects quality work, he doesn't want to here BS excuses on why you couldn't finish your labs and homework (you had at LEAST a week minimum to do them.) Scott is great.

If u r not on his passing list than u r out. He likes pretty girls and computer wizzies. He does not work with people unless he likes them. He says if u dont like him or he dont like u to get out of his class and not waste his time. He needs an attitude adjustmentant and to learn to teach. People like him cause they can get out of his class

It is the easiest class. you have opprotunities to get out of class if you are familiar with the materials being covered if you take a quiz and get 90% or better= NO CLASS!!! best teacher
