Prof. saban is one of the greatest and most friendly instructor who can ever teach you. his quizzes, exams, and assignments are pretty straightforward. He always extend the due dates for quizzes and assignments, even more than once for the same quiz, just to make sure everyone complete them.

He has to be one of the best prof's during this whole online mess. Really understands his students and repeats concepts to make sure you understand them, no matter how many times you ask. He really wants to see his students succeed. Due to online classes, attendance matters.

Kind hearted man who just wants his students to learn and succeed. Show up to your lectures, do the suggested problems and you'll be fine. Linear Algebra is simple when you're taught by Saban. Avoid skipping tutorials, as the TA gives you the solutions to the problems and you will see repeats on the test. A small accent but he will slow if asked :)

I really liked how he assigned some mandatory questions and some optional questions so that you knew what was the most important. That being said, it's a lot of homework if you want to do well. Caring professor, but somewhat confusing lectures - I personally found the textbook to be more helpful than his lectures and notes. Tests/exams very fair.

Smiles a lot; he really loves math which is awesome. He has an accent and speaks really slow and repeats important and difficult information so everybody understands. On test days, he ends lectures early so people can ask him last-minute questions. Excellent prof!

One of the best profs I have ever had in first year. He is a really kind person and he cares about his students unlike other professors. He teaches you how to succeed in university and all you have to do is to study the material before going into the next lecture and you will be fine. Print PDF notes and pay attention in class and you will be fine.

Smiles all the time because he loves math so much. Makes me want to attend the lecture! Reads off of a PDF, and does not show work on the board. However, he takes his time in explaining the material well. Practice tests are posted for each test, and sometimes have the same questions as the test. Posts solutions as well. I love this man.

He smiles the most out of anyone I met throughout my entire life. He is a very nice person. He is really slow, but wants every student to succeed. If you stick to his course (not drop out), you will realize that he will reward you with good grades at the end of the course. However, if you are taking an upper year math course, I don't recommend him.

He's got an interesting accent. If someone is confused about the material he's teaching, he's not very good at explaining it a different way. The student must think outside of their comfort zone in order to keep up. Also the practice problems were labeled "section such-and-such" in the book which made it difficult to follow in any other textbook.

writes out theorems directly from book, occasionally adds some insight or motivation, sometimes tweaks the proof to make it simpler to understand. Very clear, steady speech, and excellent use of chalkboard real estate. Tests are very fair, requiring nothing more than memorisation of every proof in every lecture you he gives.

I found saban very difficult to understand. He wrote his notes word for word from the textbook which i found absolutely ridiculous. I would never recommend taking this class with this prof if it is not necessary. Overall a terrible professor and I hated going to his classes. I worked so hard and found it very difficult to get a B.

Solid class. I learned a lot about number theory and enjoyed myself in the process. The proof of a few quadratic reciprocity-related theorems took a bit of time; that was probably my least favourite part of the course.

Saban is such a great math prof. He knows what he is teaching, and he is always there to make sure you also understand. The tests are all based on his notes, but for extra practice go through some problems in the textbook.

Utterly useless. Had to drop engineering due to being unable to pass this class. Had the same prof twice and couldn't change classes. He blasts through everything and gets upset with students that don't just get it right away. Don't bother asking questions. In fact, don't bother going to class. Just find a friend and study the book.

hard to understand, but no tricks on his tests. there are enough practice problems that are identical to the tests that a B isn't hard to get.
