Comment:
Yongo is a horrible professor. He literally fell asleep in multiple lectures and one time cancelled because he slept through it. When he is awake, he simply reads directly off of a powerpoint. I would not recommend him to anyone. If you do end up in his class, just study hard before tests. Read over the powerpoints and through the chapter.

Yongo sits up at the front of the room and lectures all day every day. He puts most students to sleep and even a few times he put himself to sleep. Some of his tests are kind of hard if you have never taken an econ class before. He slept through class one time and had to cancel it because of that.

Yongo is the goat. He is by far the best professor at this school and has a passion for economics.

The whole class is a slideshow. The only grades are four multiple choice tests. So as long as you study hard for those tests, you should be fine. He's extremely hard to understand, so you sort of have to rely on the powerpoint

Lectures can be boring, but as long as you read the textbook and the mandatory book for the term paper, you can pass. He allowed our class to have take-home tests which is a real time saver, instead of multiple choice tests.

If you can understand him through his thick accent and stay awake through his lectures, you'll do fine in the class.

So, he has an accent yes. But it's really entertaining. Not a hard class by any means. Just pay attention, participate a little, papers are fairly easy. He works with you for any issue that comes up. You are his "friend" after all. "Isn't it." (He says those no less than 500 times per class). Simple economics, a must take as a free elective.

The class is alright with this guy. He does NOT give good feedback on your papers so if you have questions ASK. Also during the whole term he will make you feel like you have a C or B until the end but (if you did well) most likely you will get an A or A-. His tests are usually take home and pretty easy. Hard to understand at times bc of accent.

Dr. Yongo is very difficult to understand, is dry and boring, and doesn't take the time to learn your name. All material he covers is on his powerpoints, which he posts to blackboard, and attendance is mandatory. Avoid his class if at all possible.

Pay very good attention to the slides and when he is lecturing in class and the tests will be a breeze. He is very hard to understand though so it makes it difficult to fully grasp what he is saying and at times difficult to concentrate.

Very hard to understand and pay attention to. However if you take good notes, from the powerpoints you should do fine. He drops the lowest test and assignment grade, which is really nice!

Go to class. Thats it. you do that you will get an A. When he talks about the test, ask him if it can be a take home test, he will ask the class, the class will say yes, and everyone should get an easy A on the tests. There was no final, just a final project/paper which took about 4 hours of work over the course of 8 weeks.

"Isn't it?" lol. He was hilarious for the maybe 20 minutes I was awake in class. Read the chapters assigned in the books, study the powerpoints, and just memorize terms. He tries to trick you on the tests with similar answers. His final exam had the answers B,A,C,D repeated the whole way down and I got a 100+EX. You probably won't get that lucky.

Pretty much lectures from the book to the chalkboard. No class participation involved, but don't let your guard down and not ever try. You will need to read the book and learn the material, but if you do that, you can pretty much spend the hour of class on the computer or doing something else that doesn't involve economics....

Eh. Well, the upside is he really knows economics. The bad thing is, it's utterly impossible to understand him, so any of his genius in economics cannot be imparted onto you. His tests aren't too bad, provided you study a lot (read: teach yourself economics). Long assignments, but they're fairly common-sensical. Would be great, but can't understand
