Lots of memorization for both lab and lecture. Make sure to attend most if not all lectures. Lots of information on many different subjects. He is retiring this year.

Can definitely be overwhelming at times. Lab is mostly dissections (dogfish, mudpuppy, cat). Requires many hours of studying and memorization. Not an easy course by any means, but it is very interesting and the professor knows his stuff. Study often, go to lectures, ask questions. Exams are hard. Practicals are harder.

Very difficult class, lots of material covered, tests are very hard. I thought this might be an enjoyable class but it's my most stressful right now. The lab is just as hard. You can't slack in this class at all! Interesting material, but the teacher jumps from topic to topic and your never really sure whats on the test and whats not.

Comment:
Extremely difficult course. The Lab is even worse. Big scale because you need it. Toughest course I've ever taken, but its "good" for you. Very rewarding when you make it out alive.
