Comment:
Professor Martin is very unorganized: deadlines are never the same and change often, sometimes homework questions weren't posted, and lectures don't seem to relate to the quizzes. You can't go back and see what you did on pervious quizzes to review for the final exam. And there are very few grades: just weekly quiz grades, homework, and the final.

The only grades in here are quizzes, homework, and a final exam. If you watch most of the lectures and do the TopHat, the quizzes are easy. If you miss a quiz deadline, he is very nice about letting you take it a different day.

Martin lawrence is old as hell and he stumbles over half the words he says. in an online class room he struggles to even create a PowerPoint that goes in order or has headings. your grade is only quizzes. his final is compromised of the questions the class missed most. however there is no study guide or way to view what questions you got wrong.

Would not recommend taking him unless you have a strong economics background. His powerpoints are about 50 slides each and a hot mess, so unorganized and hard to follow. He is unorganized during his lecture and goes on rants about nothing that will be on the test. Doesn't give any answers to the tophat questions and doesn't teach you how to do them

Professor Martin is a genuine, authentic guy. While I think he's very wise, he is a horrible teacher. His slides don't make sense, and when he lectures It can be very hard to follow. Additionally, his class is very unorganized overall and he often seems unprepared. Don't take his course.

His humorous attitude made the dull material in his lectures more tolerable. He was very informative and answered questions clearly and concisely. I would definitely recommend learning from him if you're trying to get a better grasp on economics.

I had Dr. Martin at another college last semester and he was the reason the class became my favorite. We had amazing discussions. If you have the opportunity to take him for a discussion based class I would highly recommend

This class was created by Dr. Martin but the TA was the actual teacher. This class is first and foremost a statistics and economics class that has very little to do with sports. It's just the same math problems we hate put into the context of sports. If you love stats and econ, go for it. If you like sports, you might wanna steer clear.

Prof. Martin is clearly a very smart and nice guy, but just doesn't seem very interested in teaching. Lectures are often hard to follow and he tends to tell irrelevant (but funny/interesting) stories. However, he gave a large curve at the end of the semester and his practice exams are almost exactly the exam. Doable, but there are better professors

This class is fairly easy with any shred of economic ability. Larry Martin is a personable guy who focuses on the big picture instead of encouraging you to just memorize something for an exam.

He is a fantastic, enthusiastic professor. I walked into Macroecon not knowing anything about the economy and intimidated by it. He made it simple. He is a good lecturer.

I would not suggest taking this class with Lawrence Martin. His lectures are extremely boring and the slides that he goes over during the lecture have nothing to do with the exams.

If you wish to take this class I would suggest taking it in the summer, as an online class. If you're not into sports, or don't know a lot about sports, I would think twice before registering. Overall, it was an okay class. Wish I wouldn't have taken it though

Lectures are pointless because he says the same stuff in his notes online. I basically taught myself the class because the way he explains stuff is horrible. He's a nice guy but a bad teacher.

A useless talking head that preaches about things that aren't relevant to the exam. The textbook barely helps and the quizzes are so loosely connected to his lectures it's like being in a different class. Absolutely useless. Never take his class.

Absolutely the worst teacher I've ever encountered. No book, doesn't teach and then tests you as if he's provided both of these. The quizzes are basically in a foreign language and there are no resources or guidelines for studying or even teaching yourself. DO NOT TAKE THIS WITH HIM AT ALL COSTS. If you do you will regret it!!!!
