This Professor is hands down the worst teacher I have ever taken. She is beyond rude and will call you out in front of everyone. My parent passed away and I messaged her to let her know that I would not be attending for a week or two and if I can have the homework emailed to me. All of my other teachers were more than understanding, she ignored me.

I can't even begin to describe this nightmare experience. Boring lectures. The tests are ridiculous, 75 questions but she didn't actually read the book. Mostly made up in her head. Second half switched to online due to covid. Refused to use canvas. Deadlines changed with no notice and all through her AOL email. Such a mess. AVOID at all costs.

Just show up and take notes and you'll be fine. Note cards were allowed for tests (front and back at whatever font and she doesn't check it). Super interesting but at 8 in the morning her voice can seem very mono toned but other than that I believe if I took slightly more interest and tried a but more on my notes I would have gotten an A or a B.

You have to work really hard to get an A in this class. Prof. Williams gives pop quizzes every class on material she hasn't even lectured on yet and just expects us to know. The tests are really difficult and a lot of people failed. You have to study ahead of time and not procrastinate or you will most likely fail the class.

Very well at explaining what needed to be known for tests or quizzes. Not much work in class, only lectures. Only one paper which was fairly easy. Didn't show up to class most of the time, and I still got a good grade.

She is a great teacher, gives a lot of quizzes though so if youre not willing to put in the work, you probably wont do well in this class. Shes very clear about whats on the tests and lets you use cheat sheets but youll have to study a lot outside of class.

Quizzes every week. Lectures are very boring and irrelevant. Material seemed like it could be interesting but she made it awful.

I would not recommend this Professor. Teaches off the book and reads directly off the slides. Pop quizzes every week, so you have to show up or it will bring your grade down. Came late often. I self taught myself what I needed to know. Overall, didn't benefit from this class at all.

Do not take this class. Lecture heavy and she gives many pop quizzes. Won't pass if you don't read the textbook before the lectures.

This class is an easy A. If you really want to learn about Psychology don't take Dr. William's class. She teaches straight out of textbook. So make sure you buy one. Her class lectures are straight from the powerpoint and become very dull and repetitive.

Took her during the 4 week summer session. She's not bad at all! Lectures are long but easy to understand. She gives a lot of bonus points on quizzes and tests. I got As on all my quizzes, C on my midterm, not sure what I got on the final but finished with an A. There's a quiz after the chapter is finished the class after. You can use a cheat sheet

Most people enjoy Psych. I was looking forward to it, but this class did not live up 2 expectations. Take another professor of you can. Dr. Williams means well, and I'm sure she knows a lot, but as a teacher, not very inspiring. But there are EC q's on her tests. And u get to use a cheat sheet I wrote really tiny and fit everything on it so got "A"

Dr. Williams is a nice lady, but her lectures are really long and boring. She made Psychology uninteresting for me. I do not recommend if you are a psychologist major. BUT you can use a cheat sheet on the exams!!

Extremely boring, nothing but quizzes and lectures, I switched my major which was psychology at the time because of this class, she made it seem totally uninteresting, such a disappointment, if you are actually interested in psychology, do not take this class. Expected to have read a chapter of the text before each class (some exceed 50 pages).

Think of a sassy black woman, that is Professor Wiliams. Read the text and you will pass the class, most of her quizzes get questions from the tests at the end of each section. She gives chapter quizzes the session after starting the notes for that chapter. There are extra credit true/false questions on all of her exams. She tells you what to study

Such an easy class if you make it be. All you have to do is work hard on your cheat sheets (use one 8 1/2 by 11 page of notes front and back for each exam including final) If you do those well and skim the textbook you get a good grade on the test. Nice lady and really funny but have to catch on to her humor. Great lady!

Dr. Williams is an okay professor. She sticks to the textbook and her powerpoints, which are posted as links. She gives out T/F quizzes once a week on the chapter she asked you to read. You can have a cheat sheet on every exam. She has a strong southern accent that can be hard to understand. Easy grader on the term paper. Okay overall. not awesome.

Possibly one of the worst classes i have ever taken. The professor is beyond the definition of boring. There is nothing interesting about this class. Her tests and quizzes make no sense at all and it is quite difficult to learn in her class.

Super monotone and boring... And questions on tests and quizzes are super vague as if they could go either way. She's also rude due to the fact she interrupts students before they finish asking their question.

Comment:
Going to her class is pointless. All she talks about is the life of her clients and people in the class. Her lectures never go over anything that is on the test, and she expects us to read every single page in the book prior to each class. Her quizes are easy, but her tests never go over anything you go over in class or on the quizes.
