She is so caring and funny! Gives a good amount of extra credit on each test. For the tests MAKE FLASHCARDS! We are also assigned 2 out of class critical analysis essays, 5-7 pages each. The sweetest teacher. You get excused from the final if you end the class with an A! You gotta work for the A though. Also, frequent quizzes.

Beware not to take this class if you are taking three, or at the most four other classes. Biggest mistake ever. Anyways, the only tough part about the class is the work load which is insane, and at times gets chaotic, but St. Peters as an instructor is what makes this class worth it, she's understanding, kind and able to work with you.

St. Peters is honestly the best! If you are up for a challenge and love reading and writing then take her! Make sure you read! Make sure you care and so will she! When I stopped looking at how much work there was and instead enjoyed the class it was so amazing! I fell in love with literature and although it was a lot of work it was worth it!

Prof. St. Peters is the nicest!! Her class is always fun. There's a lot of readings required but I enjoy them because I love poetry. She also gives extra credits in her quizzes and if you watch a play I believe. Throughout the semester, we mostly just interpret poetries and watch plays and write commentaries - I absolutely LOOOVE this class lots!!

Out of the 2 years of non stop classes and professors, Professor St. Peters is honestly one of my favorites. Yes there are many readings, 4 journals, many quizzes, 4 exams (with essays). But when you finish her class you truly leave with a new love for literature. Her lectures were informing, she shares funny stories and cares for her students.

It was a tough class but I loved it. You have to read everything assigned in order to do good on the class. A lot of writing but it's expected, it's Englih 1B. She gives a lot of extra credit. If you have an A by the end of the class, you'll be excused from the final, which is awesome.

TONS of extra credit. An absolutely lovely person in general and very passionate. There is a lot of homework but it was all pretty easy, along with the tests. Very awesome stipulation that if you have an A at the end of the class, you get to skip the final exam.

Professor St. Peters is an amazing professor. She enjoys the subject and makes one also develop an interest for literature. I'm not going to lie but her class was tough. She makes you work for the grade. She also assigns lots of writing assignments. If you are looking to improve both your reading and writing skills, definitely take her.

I loved prof St. Peters, just make sure you stay organized. If you keep up with all of the readings, and study for the tests you'll be in good shape. I unfortunately got ill and fell behind in my work, which dropped my grade from an A to a C, and she did not allow me to make up an exam, which was a bummer so I had to drop. But i did learn a lot.

St. Peters was an absolute pleasure to have. Do not underestimate this class. It is unkind, it will make you bite the pillow. Yeah, there is a lot of reading, but this class has exposed me to some of the greatest stuff I've ever read. If you work hard for that A, she'll give it to you. St. Peters is also very sweet and a brilliant professor.

I was getting a high A in class and had 20 pages of my midterm complete (yes, 20 pages), but then I had an emergency and dropped because I couldn't get an extension and a failing grade would have sunk me for the class. Lots of busy work. Took the class again with a different prof, much better experience.

A lot of work, but like she told us the first day of class : "I will challenge you to your limits; if you make through my course, you can transfer confident, for you'll then have what is expected from you at the university level." She is also really sweet!!!!

Ok here's the thing, if you hate English, if you're looking for a teacher who will just let you B.S your way through everything without really learning or doing anything don't take this class! BUT! If you are like me and love English and actually care about learning than this teacher is amazing for you. Its hard work but its good hard work.

Susan is a great instructor. She gives great feedback and encouragement on your work. She's also extremely generous when it comes to her students. On the last day of school she must have spent well over $100 of her own money buying food and prizes for the class. Take her class if you want to learn about screenwriting. It's a great experience.

This is a hard class. Not so much when it comes to the tests or essays as she gives you pretty much everything you need to pass them with her reading guides as long as you use them to study. It's just a lot of reading, your going to read several books of mythology during the semester, so take if your willing to put in the time. It's time consuming.

Professor St. Peters is very helpful. Ask her and she will help you get an A in her class. Do the reading , there are pop quizzes. Offers a lot of extra credit which can boost your grade tremendously. She pushes you to your limit. Just stay ahead of the readings, do the study guides and you'll be fine. I did not have to take the final. Whoo!
