She gives WAY to much work for an online class. She clearly does not understand using technology to make life easier as well as she should considering she is teaching an online class. She is an extremely tough grader and will add comments that are not helpful, but rather rude at times. DO NOT take this class.

I would lever recommend taking her online course. It is extremely time consuming and tedious. I have taken many other online courses before, nothing compares to this one. In my opinion it is way over the top and unrealistic for college students to take while taking a full course load. I would stay away from her online classes if possible.

A wonderful instructor exhibiting genuine care and exceptional knowledge of developmental psychology. I highly recommend that undergraduate students take her online Child Development and Social Psychology classes to satisfy major or especially minor requirements. She has been a great mentor within and beyond the class setting.

Not great... Her online course is all busy work and she is SO picky when it comes to grading. Every assignment is just re-wording info from the textbook and it takes forever. Also - I don't think she knows proper grammar. The "corrections" she makes on assignments aren't actually correct, and she makes plenty of typos herself.

Worst class I have ever taken. Gives insane amounts of homework for an online class, is very unfriendly, and is an extremely tough grader. I'm doing excellently in all of my other classes, but it seems that no matter how much time and effort I put into my work for this class, it's never good enough. Stay away if you know what's best.

She gives so much work for an online class it is unbelievable. I have to teach everything myself. Also, such a tough grader and takes points off for every little thing. would never take again and I regret taking her so much. I get A's on all my papers and she is the only one who is telling me I need to work on my writing.

She is very funny & cares A LOT about her students. She will usually give you clues about the essays that are on the tests and she will also give you hints for reaction papers. She is a very easy grader, although most of her tests are multiple choice. As long as you study what she has on the study guide, you will do fine.

I'm sure it's a better course in person. Online does not appear to be this professor's best mode. She doesn't provide guidance on what she is really looking for, and then deducts points when you don't know the expectations. It's more like a correspondence course. 30+ assignments that you submit and get scores for, with little interaction.

Child Development. Dr. Dunlap is very knowledgeable but don't be fooled because her lectures are a bit scattered. Her tests are mostly based on class notes so go to class...she is pretty interesting and likes the students. She highly values promptness and attendance. She is fair and it is not hard to to get a good grade if you put in effort.
