A really nice man and truly concerned about what everyone thinks. He really knows his facts. The articles are tedious but usually pretty interesting. Participate in the discussions, read the articles, and BE ON TIME TO CLASS and you will have a guaranteed A.

His teacher seriously rocks for a intro to psych class. He gives you a copy of the powerpoint before the lecture so you aren't frantically writing everything on it down in your notes. His lectures are SO easy to follow and as long as you study, you will seriously do fine. If you are taking intro to psych, take this guy! SERIOUSLY!

Really chill professor. Laid back. No tests or textbooks for this class, although the articles we had to read did get a little redundant. Just show up and participate in discussions and do your summaries and this class is not hard at all.

This was a pretty easy class. There weren't any tests, which was awesome, but sometimes the readings can be redundant. Overall though he was an easy teacher and class was a breeze. just show up and do the readings and you'll be fine

Hard class in general. Pellew makes it easily understandable and not as overwhelming as it could have been. Definitely interesting and cares about his students. My highest recommendation for a General Psych class.

His was by far the easiest class I've taken so far at Furman. If you do the work, come to (and stay awake during) class, you're guaranteed an A. For some people that was difficult. The topics make everyone uncomfortable and his side comments are drawn out. But I really did enjoy this class because it was low-key. No tests!

Great professor! I don't know how much he teaches psych at Furman since he's mainly at Greenville Tech, but take him if you want a fairly easy course. He makes an already great class fun. I had always heard psych is hard at Furman, but this was a fairly easy A if you do the work.

I'm glad I took his class. He is very interesting though his tests are hard. Almost everyone in my class took it pass/fail. That is definately the way to do it, and this way you can still learn a lot and not be stressed out.

Best class of life! Go to class, pay attention and take good notes. His test come 90% from in class discussion and 10% from reader articles. He talks really fast so your hand will get a workout taking notes but when you go to study for the test all you need to know will be in your notebook. This should be a mandatory course for graduation.

He's kind of dry, but the class was definitely interesting. Tests aren't difficult as long as you take good notes in class and study thoroughly. Nice guy.

He's hard, but fair. Study at least an hour everyday and you will do alright in the class. His tests are like any others in the psych department - hard!
