i took this class online. His lectures are all over the place. A&P is very hard and he doesn't do any fun thing or ways to help your understand the work.

I took him over the summer for a 4 week class and studied very hard. He is extremely knowledgeable of the subject and cares about his students. Don't think you can just pass without studying. This is a difficult class to understand but he is quick to answer emails and grades fairly. I would definently take him again for any bio class.

I took the 4 week A&P II summer course during covid-19. 3 hour zoom meeting once a week. Lecture info was on test but he talked so fast it was difficult to take notes. No study guides. Exams were timed, lab images difficult to read. I studied for hours and still didn't finish the exam. Book heavy. Tutor never responded to my emails.

I took A&P I and II in 8 weeks w/ Dugge and received an A. You truly can't be lazy or expect to just "cruise" your way through this class. This is a tough, mentally draining course, but if you make the effort, you'll do great! If he writes something on the board, copy it down. Never leave early. Drops your lowest test grade & gives attendance pts.

Comment:
This class is very difficult, especially if taken in the 8 week term, but he truly cares about his students doing well. He was very lenient towards some scheduling issues I had and I was able to make up tests due to the fact that I was doing well in the class. If you don't show up or show that you care about doing well he may not be so lenient.

He is a good professor. He has been teaching this subject longer than I've been alive. Yes he is a tough teacher but this class is. It says the book is required but he uploads everything on blackboard. I did not use the book. If he writes something on the board you need to know it. Study hard for this! The lab dissections and exams are hard.

He uses the tests from the book so be prepared to read the book and also take good notes from lecture because he will put in questions specifically from his lectures which are not in the book. If he writes stuff on the board, copy it. If he keeps bringing up a certain person, write it down. His study guides take a lot of time so START EARLY!

Just finished taking his class. he is a great teacher. As long as you study the material and be ready for quizzes, you will pass. He drops the lowest test grade and one lowest quiz. If he sees how much effort you put in the class, he will round up your grade

Great teacher, cares a lot about his students! Good grades possible if you actually study the lectures and take notes of stuff he talks about. Textbook helps and attendance counts for extra points!

Wayne was great! He made A&P enjoyable and interesting. His lectures were long and covered more material than he tested over only because he uses the textbook Powerpoints not his own. Study what he stresses. He is a very generous grader. Show up each class for additional points at end of the semester. Drops lowest test score.

Mr. Dugge was a good teacher overall, but taking this class with him in 8 weeks is definitely not for everyone! He is clear on what is expected in the course, but he expects a LOT out of you. I barely got a C in the class, and I studied harder than I ever have before.

You dont realize how good someone is until you no longer have them around. I am not in Mr D's course now, but boy I wish I was. Mr. D is such a good instructor, one who really cares about how each student does in his course. His syllabus is clear, he follows it closely but gave us extra time to go over models and slides before tests.

This is the third time that I have taken this class and Mr D is a much better teacher than any of the other professors that I have taken. You can tell that Mr D really enjoys what he teaches and really tries to make the student enjoy the class as well. The tests are long but fair and Mr D is a fast grader

This class was very difficult but Mr D was very kind in giving us direction regarding test content , quickly grading and recording all tests and quizzes and giving us extra credit opportunity. It is wise to attend each class and to write down anything that is written on the board during the lectures
