A good teacher, doesn't use a textbook for this course, instead he gives you notes that can be as long as 20 pages long. No homework, just tests, so you have do at least decently on all of them or you wont pass. Tells you exactly whats on them and what to study. As long as you know that material you should be good.

I love professor Toruno, He is funny and I know all he does in class is talk all day but before quizzes and exams he gives you the answer to it so write it down. My tip for you is to record his voice. It helps so much and record when he review the answer for midterm and finals and good thing is the exam is the same as review.

Professor Toruno is the funniest guy ever. But, he lectures everyday and take notes or record his voice to it's easier. He gave us the answer before taking the quiz make sure to write that down, and as for the midterm and final, he gave us a review that is exactly the same as the real one so you have to study hard for that.

Professor Toruno is a really funny guy! I loved his lectures. You can tell he is passionate/ knowledgeable about his subject. His readings are really tedious, but I honestly didn't due them and was fine. He gives you the exact questions and answers for the test the day before you actually take it! And he is attractive, which is always nice.

This is one of my favorite professors. He is such an amazing person, I recommend taking his class. He gives a few pop quizzes once in a while. One midterm and he reviews before so you know all the material. Genuinely interested in his students passing. He'll also give you the textbook online so you don't need to buy it.

If your not in class, you won't pass. He wrote his own book on Microeconomics and provides chapters and appendix throughout each lecture ahead of time. His textboook is like reading a story instead of basic graphs or charts. Talks explicitly about everything in lecture. Boring lectures. Study guides are his review sheets. Written essays for exams.

If you don't know your stuff come test time and try to play around with words in your answer, you'll get dinged pretty hard. Expects well thought out responses. Has hilarious moments in class and is extremely friendly outside of class. Doesn't teach micro using heavy amounts of calculus, making it somewhat interesting.

Doesn't take attendance. Gives study guide for midterm & final. Reviews it the class prior to test day. Picky on term paper. Very knowledgeable, but lectures are confusing, tedious, boring, annoying; since he goes on forever including every detail & going off tangents, instead of going over something & moving onto the next.

He is the best professor that I have ever had. He is a great mentor, and it is apparent that he puts a lot of effort and thought into making class enjoyable and easy to understand, while still managing to throw in a hint of revolutionary fervor that is contagious for those that disagree with mainstream economic perspectives. I LOVE Dr. Toruño!

Professor Toruno is amazing! He is the nicest guy! He is so passionate about teaching and makes class enjoyable. The best part, he provided the textbook on blackboard so we didn't have to go out and spend a ridiculous amount of money! He has 4 quizes that are pretty simple because they come straight from the study guide. 1 midterm and a final!

Friendly, obviously enjoys and is passionate about what he teaches. He lets you know what to focus on for tests during lecture, so be sure to attend. As long as you put forth the effort and show that you paid attention you should be fine. 2 midterms, a final (all short essay), and a paper on an economist of your choice.
