She has a document she uses in lectures which she posts so u can see them if u missed class, she doesn't record lectures, 1 exam each sunday, quizzes on parts of the world she lets u practice on them, no cut points on late work, extra credit on on time work, free online textbook, breakout room discussions, and textbook discussions. super easy class

Dr. Jones is an amazing professor and I would definitely take her class again. Tests every 2 weeks you can use one page of notes and if missed you have 2 weeks to make it up, no midterm just analysis, homework folders due day after tests, final is questions from previous exams, lecture heavy but informative, barely touched book.

Jones' class is lecture heavy, but her tests are fair, especially since you get one page of notes. She gives many extra credit opportunities, and many of them are going to campus events. She talks about her experiences from traveling places and obviously knows a lot about the subjects she teaches. I thought it added a personal touch to the class.

Ms. Jones' class was great! I learned a lot from it and it was also an easy A. She allows one page of notes for all the tests including the final, I would recommend just copying all of your notes from lectures and you'll pass forsure! There's a book but I barely touched it, there was rarely questions about it on the exams. She's great w/ lectures!

I took Dr. Jones my very first quarter of college and she made me much less nervous than I already was with her hilarious jokes. She is an amazing professor and she did a great job moderating very helpful discussions during class. There isn't very much homework and this class was super interesting as well!

Jones is a great, no-nonsense teacher. Class consists of 1/2 lecture material and 1/2 book material. Lectures are engaging, visual, and informative. Her coverage of colonialism and other world conquests came across as a matter of fact, objective, and sober rather than hysterical. She inspired me to want to travel and learn more about the world!

I love Dr. Jones. She is very passionate about her class and uses relevant and powerful material in her class for us to take away from. She understands that we all have struggles in life sometimes and she'll take the time to consider your story. She is one of my favorite professor ever at this school.

God Bless this woman. Unlike many professors, she understands that we have other classes and needs to tend to. You have extra time to make up assignments and exams. Her personality is amazing and is very easy to understand. Just do your hw folders and study for the exams using the study guide. Would totally take her again and highly recommend

Dr. Jones is the definition of black excellence. Class was slight work. Quizzes every week, chapters are short and easy. Weekly worksheets are given and you watch many interesting videos. Every lecture was interesting and current with world news. Never had a boring class. Group work is usual. Easy class yo, take it. Jones is funny & makes class fun

Dr. Jones is an amazing professor. I took her for Social Issues and her lectures and class activities truly make you see the world in a different perspective. Her class consists of videos, worksheets and groupwork. Her tests are pretty easy and she gives study guides which are exactly what the tests and quizzes are based on.

Sneaky busy class. Sometimes you think you're all caught up and then boom two weeks worth of handouts are due, and you have an exam. Go to class, stay on top of the hand outs and you should do fine. Exams are actually harder then you first think. So memorize countries and CAPITALS. I really enjoyed her lectures, and shes very nice.

I'd really like her approach for this course. There are weekly quizzes, and questions will not come as a surprise. Incorporating the extra credit system boost grade level's and were really interesting. Be prepare to study the countries as you'll dive across different section's of the world. It was a blast having Jennifer.
